  • Calibration does not work anymore

    The new app update and/or firmware update is an utter failure. The calibration does not work after adding a new blinds. Do you guys do basic testing before a release. It was working fine on the iPhone till the recent update. Such shoddy work! I’m sure my review will be met with a generic, nonsensical, inconsequential and incompetent reply from the MySmartBlinds team.

  • Absolutely worthless app

    This is the most garbage app I’ve ever used. I am constantly logged out for no reason and the programmed schedule is completely wiped out so must be manually reprogrammed. Once the company sells you the blinds you’re pretty much on your own.
  • Usually works fine

    Not always perfect but I have not had any serious issues like some of the reviews. I own 9 of them and the hub. I am happy with them. They are definitely the best and maybe only deal for retrofitting existing blinds with automation.
  • Doesn’t save you set up

    The app has you log into your account but if you ever log out of that account in the app, your whole house set up is gone. Log back in to the same account and you’ll still have to set up everything from scratch.

    Also, it seemed to stop adding new rooms to the bridges config. Tried resetting the bridge and now the app can’t proceed beyond the WiFi set up for the bridge, no error and the UI is responding but it won’t go to the next setup screen.

  • Bridge?

    The blinds open and close as scheduled most of the time. The “sun tracking” feature that’s supposed to adjust for sunrise/sunset doesn’t work. At all. Neither does the energy savings feature. Their bridges will not to connect to WiFi so DO NOT buy one.
  • Love this!

    Great concept! I will say it’s so great to hear how quiet they are when they open in the morning and let all the light in. Really gets me going. And then in the evening shuts all my upstairs at the same time. I cannot imagine not having these blinds so I hope the developers will continue to work with this app. I’m nervous as my Apple watch says that the next upgrade will not include this app since the developer has not updated it. Please please continue to update! I love my blinds!!!

  • Buggy

    I never thought a smart appliance would be so complicated. This app is horrendous, the UI and UX (or lack thereof) needs some serious upkeep. Why log me out at LEAST once a week? I have to sign in if I want to open my blinds? No Touch/Face ID integration to make that a quicker process? No voice control whatsoever? Even people with Alexa, which this advertises voice control for, aren’t finding that feature useful. The product itself is nice, but all the software to access the product is such a disaster. Also, just stretching the resolution does NOT equal iPhone X support. There are items nearly inaccessible or unreadable due to being stretched too far up or too close to the home bar.

  • Needs HomeKit Support

    Excellent product. I would buy these to cover my entire house and rate this 5 stars if it worked with HomeKit.
  • What did you do?

    This worked perfectly until about 2 weeks ago. Now every time I open the app I have to authenticate. Please change it back, it has made the watch app useless as you have to authenticate on the phone first. Please fix ASAP
  • Nice Product

    Very nice product that allows you to retrofit your existing blinds and make them smart, opening and closing them on a schedule or manually from the app.
