App has high consume of battery
I checked and tried 3 times to reinstall but it keeps consuming battery in background despite that the app is disabled in background app refresh option. I’ll uninstall it and wait for updates. Thank you.
Good idea, very bad physical implementation.
The app is ok, but the charge for the added features, after charging too much money for a very poorly designed bottle is laughable.
Charging for app features after purchase. -1 star.
Non-standard custom charging cable -1 star.
I have to remove the base to charge. -1 star.
I can't use the bottle while charging. -1 star.
They should have included the ability to use an inductive charger, like all other products we are using now. That would make this a product useful.
After having my hydrate spark pro for several months now and only bothering to charge it maybe three times because it's a pain in the neck to find and use their special, tiny, easily damaged, cheaply manufactured, charging cable. Then you have to TAKE THE UNIT APART to plug it in with this cable, and wait, and cannot use the bottle while it is charging.
Along with the cable charging mechanism there souls have been an indication charging base that I can set the unit down on, from time to time. Like my Ember mug, or my OralB toothbrush, or my watch, or my phone... They created an out of date, clumsy to use product, then had the gaul to ask for more money for the extra app features.
If the bottle isn't not ergonomic, then it is just an expensive water bottle, with zero added benefit over a free water bottle you get at a trade show.

Prior review: Brand new bottle, and it’s just not detecting the water automatically. I have to manually tell the app when I drink and how much. What’s the point then of connecting the app to my water bottle?? I only bought it so it would update AUTOMATICALLY how much I drank. Useless.

Great bottle
App Update Glitches
Regarding the newest update - v3.2.0:
Pros: I like the look of the new interface, glowing green goal makes it easy to see where I am for the day, and I like that all the stats breakdowns are now on the Home screen
Cons: manual add drink list carousel is no longer continuous, reorder drink list option isn’t working (drag & drop to reorder automatically resets to default), toggle to show alcoholic beverages without any way to actually add alcoholic beverages to drink list, app routinely glitches in the middle of an action (this has been happening for a while…)
I like that you continue to make advancements to the app, but please make sure it has gone through thorough testing before public release. New “features” that don’t actually work are frustrating & make your development team look incompetent.

Over all the app works fine, just not intuitive and could be a lot better.
