New Homescreen!

The new homescreen is great! Love being able to scroll through my upcoming trips right on the first screen. And chat is still just a tap away to get me out of any travel bind!

Awful Ux

Just awful experience. 7 sign on steps every time you need to use it (with our company SSON); functionality that is significantly poorer than any retail site (eg. Basic filtering, automatics display of all relevant detail, inadequate fare conditions and very limited change functionality. Give me back Concur!!!

Please add ticket feature

Please add a feature that has your train and airline tickets available within the app. That would be really useful.

The app is legitimate garbage and support is worthless

What good is the app if it won’t accept my login credentials? I can log in and out of the website on my computer just fine, but when I try to log in with the same exact information in the app, it tells me it’s wrong. I tried to contact support and they marked my issue as resolved without even trying anything.

The app is unusable, I’m not sure how it has such a high rating

Poor

Constantly requires login. Takes forever to send authentication code. Unable to book travel. Support team don’t understand basic suggestions for improvement.

Complete garbage

What a crappy app for a company like AMEX. Wow - interface is terrible, non responsive and truly make the customer experience worse— way to go AMEX. So the chat doesn’t work , no number provided and then it hangs endlessly saying there is no internet connectivity when literally everything else on my phone is working. In case of emergency? God help you. Really AMEX common and do this right - wish I could have my company love to someone else.

I can’t believe AMEX associates with this

I have been using this app through work for about four months now. So far the having everything in one place is convenient, but that’s about it. Sending tons of superfluous alerts for no reason. The “customer service“ is ridiculous. None of them have any idea what’s going on with your problem even though you explain it several times. You have to wait for somebody to connect to you. 8 to 10 minutes when you’re having an emergency. So it’s kind of pointless. And a half the time they have a bad attitude while you’re stuck in the airport/car rental/hotel problem that they caused. The app itself doesn’t transfer to check in flights 75% of the time or expand so you can read the tiny little lettering. All in all there has to be a better way than this

Not so good for a global service

The chat function does not work properly as it doesn’t update live and I was promised to have someone contacting me and that didn’t happen. I had both my flights cancelled and there was no one to support.

Chat feature doesn’t update of agent responses

The chat feature requires that I leave the chat and enter it again in order to see the travel agent’s response, and there is no audible or other notification of new messages while in the chat.
Very annoying.

Chat doesn’t work

I travel almost every week so the idea of being able to chat with AMEX to make changes is amazing. Unfortunately, the last few times I’ve attempted to use the chat, I get an auto-reply stating “Something went wrong, please try again.” I’ve even deleted the app and reinstalled it but I get the same error message.
