car insurance

so happy with adrian flux, their app keeps me up to date with how well i’ve been driving and if i was to have an off day where i might have gone a couple miles off the speed limit, the app keeps me up to date weather my black box need charging or weather it’s too hot, i got to choose wear my black box could be fitted which was good as i could put it someone i could reach and where it won’t affect my driving. Adrian flux are cheap for first time and young drivers and they also tell me how much i would pay for a renewal on my insurance, they also tell me how much i would be saving if i was to keep up with the good driving which makes me more cautious of how i drive making sure i save my money. They’re really good with their customer services and always gives me the best advice weather it’s to do with my mileage or my payments. ive loved being with adrian flux and i will definitely recommend and renew my insurance with them again.

Black box

i have been with adrian flux for 4 months now and i can say that have been amazing and especially the black box it is really understanding and very good percentage off for the renewal in the next year if you listen to the rules of the black box i am a very happy customer

Decent App, have been using Adrian flux for almost a year now. However every time i want to view my score of how well i’ve driven they seem to always be making improvements to the app and to check back soon. Mostly every single time. I just want to check how well i have driven but i can’t because of this!!!

amazing insurance company

I have been with this company for only 3 months, but so far they’ve been absolutely amazing, the customer service is brilliant, super helpful. i have a black box insurance, and i love the fact i can track my miles, journeys and they even give me weather updates! i absolutely recommend this insurance company if you need to get cheap insurance:)

Waste of time

App works fine. As a parent it is handy to monitor journeys, speed, keep track of mileage etc. I’m not sure how accurate it is regarding speed after many other reviews I have read! DO NOT believe the forecasted premium for the next year of insurance. My daughters app said her next premium would be £1400 and it’s actually turned out to be £1900 with no explanation why. On the FAQS on the app it tells you that the price it shows is accurate and then on a different page it says they are not guaranteed. Very contradicting and misleading.

There were no changes to the policy, it is not accurate or guarenteed. When questioned, Adrian Flux stated they sent out information regarding the premium increase. There wasn’t any contact at all from Adrian Flux regarding this.

Under normal circumstances, the predicted renewal premium that is displayed on the FluxScore App immediately before the renewal will be offered unless there have been changes to the policy. Seems ok but could do with more detail

So far the App has worked well. Each day we get the smiley face - great driving and a reduction on the renewal.

Downside however is that when you review the journeys you get these little bits of orange that say ‘caution - watch your speed’ but it doesn’t tell you what speed was recorded so you can go back and check.

On a couple of occasions there has been a tiny bit of red - unsafe driving but again doesn’t tell you why, what speed it thinks you did vs the speed limit.

Even with the small amounts of red and orange markers the premium renewal went down the overall score was ‘Great Driving’. Hence being a bit confusing to read. This part of the app needs a bit more work. It would be great if the app incorporated a live map showing you moving around and what speed limit it thinks that part of the road is.

Overall though, so long as these blips don’t affect my daughters renewal or result in a sudden cancellation (as I’ve seen in other reviews), the app is simple and the box easy to use.

Absolutely love this app! Shows your everything you need to know about your mileage, speed, battery life of your black box and shows you how much you are facing through safe driving!

flux score app review

adrian flux black box provides a great service. the black box only marks your driving down for your speed and your speed only, there is no breaking measurement, time of driving penalty and acceleration punishment, the system is relatively lenient to speed so if you are aspiring to be a boy racer in your 2013 corsa you will get away with beating that old granny at the set of lights near your local supermarket. the app is easy to use however my only complaint is that i can’t seem to find any of my documentation or proof of insurance on the app however it will be online. i hope this helps

Doesn’t tell you what’s wrong

Been driving since November 2022 and it’s now February 2023 and I’m losing my insurance for “dangerous driving” I live in the country where the bumpy roads etc and it doesn’t tell me what’s wrong so all I can assume is that, but I’ve been done for going to fast be great if you’s actually told me what’s wrong or even just sent a text instead of just telling me it’s dangerous. Joke of an app.

Hi Kavys, Each day of your FluxScore policy you would have receive a summary of your driving for the previous day sent directly to your app. Your app then lets you see detailed maps of your journeys showing you where your driving was below the standard we expect. Persistent or excessive speeding dramatically increases your chance of having an accident and this is what will have caused the insurer to cancel your policy. By doing this your insurer can offer the best prices to drivers who do drive well. Please rest assured that a bumpy road has no affect on your score. Address change

Bit concerned that the first I knew of cancellation was when I received an email stating policy will be cancelled in 7 days. I am the “paying” parent for my daughter (she is policy holder). I can access app but no messages were sent to me until the final threat of cancellation. My daughter has taken car to Uni so car was parked away from home address.
