  • Frustrating app

Setting the cards up was agonizing - I went through the entire process only to discover it hadn’t captured most of the cards I’d added. Somehow, although I’m trying to re-add these cards, it takes me to this page where it tells me “all the savings” that ai can have…on the basis of the few cards it had retained. Then, of course, I cannot simply back out of it to go add more, it “forces” me to continue to their tiered plans they have available. I try closing the app and reopening it (SEVERAL times) to try adding more cards. I reset my password, hoping that forces the app to allow me access to the point where I can add my cards, it takes me right back to this tiered pricing page with “all my savings” based on 2 cards I had in there. I try to switch to the desktop. None of my cards are recognized as valid. I give up. Just a terrible experience with this app.

  • Not sure…questionable practices

Went through the process was accepted but was never sent a statement or minimum payment amount, they want you to accept the terms and a statement that includes your minimum payment would be sent in a few weeks. Seems sketchy so I canceled before the end of business day but apparently i still owe the $300 fee for absolutely nothing! I cancelled literally 2 hours later yet my account still shows i owe their $300 fee. Not a very good business practice and I couldn’t find anywhere in my agreement where it said I still owed. I would be willing to re establish my account if I could see some sort of minimum payment info BEFORE signing on the dotted line.

  • They will WRECK your credit.

Tally dropped my score by 53 points. Literally the worst service ever. I expected them to pay off a big chunk of my credit card, but they paid the minimum payment at higher interest rate than my credit card itself. Nothing more. Total scam. Capital One themselves are more lenient about missed payments than Tally. If you miss a payment they will report it right away, whereas Capital One is willing to work with you. I wasn’t even behind on payments, I was just trying to get an edge and help pay down my only high balance credit card and instead I get an epic score drop, and these people hassling me with threatening emails more than my credit card company ever did (which was NEVER). I paid off $10k of debt by myself that these people failed to help with. Don’t trust the reviews here, this company is obviously established for people who have predatory lenders and not “normal” credit card companies. 29% interest on the “tally line” is NOT any better than my 22% capital one APR. Filing complaints with BBB and anywhere else I can make it known.

  • Not a great app/ not a great solution

The updated app freezes occasionally, making it impossible to make a payment without deleting and reinstalling the app. There’s also no way (if there is, it’s nearly impossible to find) to make a payment on a web version, so you’re pretty much stuck.

Additionally, the rates they offer are almost imperceptible from those offered by regular credit card companies. I think I saved maybe .2 %? Not a good deal, and ends up being just another payment to manage. On top of that, I had to call them to remove a card from my account, which was super annoying and doesn’t put control of my finances into my hands.

  • All great except the constant de-linking

I love the idea of this app and it helps with paying off my debt no doubt, however I get about 1-3 notifications a month about how my cards keep de-linking from the app and that I have to relink. The app takes forever to link a card to its app and you have to do it each time for each individual card.

Emailed customer service a couple times about this and they keep sending me the same copied+pasted automated message that literally doesn’t answer my question even a little.

Huge pet peeve of mine is when customer service make it obvious they didn’t take the time or energy to really read your message and send a real response. It literally happens with like 90% of the companies I email when there’s a problem and I always have to point out to them that the answer they provided me has nothing to do with my question.

  • Alright, listen to me. It’s worth it.

I downloaded tally before and for some reason I couldn’t understand how it worked. Long story short, I got frustrated and deleted the app.
Then some time later it crossed my mind again and I decided to give it another chance.
My man, I feel so secure. It’s almost like I’ve got a warm nice hand holding me the whole time. All my crap is being paid, they’re saving me money and really I’ve been having nothing but the best experience ever.
My credit score shot over 50 points.
My credit card usage was super high since I lost my job due to Covid. But now that I’m back on my feet I’m working on paying it all off and tally definitely is helping like a real MVP right now. Thanks guys. I 10/10 recommend, just make sure you understand the process and you Gucci.

  • Zero response

The app’s delay with keeping up with card payments is so slow that it will double charge you for one card even if you’ve already placed a card payment earlier in the month. Also if you set the app to not use tally credit the app will disregard that and charge you on the credit anyways.

There is no way to close the account from the app and the developers DON’T RESPOND TO EMAILS SENT TO THEM. I’ve been trying to close the account for weeks because I’m tired of being double charged when I’m paying my credit cards on time.

Don’t download the app unless you just want a pseudo credit card used to only pay off your other credit cards. You’re better off just creating a list of cards and keeping track of your payments and due dates yourself.

  • Beware

Honestly, this app seemed like a good idea but after a while it kept changing the payment and it seemed to vary immensely. After I didn’t like the way the payment was calculated I decided to just pay off the balance and not have them pay my bills anymore. However, it seemed like my balance never decreased. I started screenshotting my balance and realized over two months, paying $120, my balance had only decreased by about $20. This app is not worth it and seems pretty scammy. In the app, they don’t even show how they’re calculating the minimum payment or how much interest is being charged. A business that is dealing this closely with my financial information should be a lot more transparent. So just be cautious.

  • Terrible Experience

For several days now, the app has had issues. I cannot load any of my account information, and they publicly stated they have been having issues with it. So, under their direction, I deleted and re-downloaded the app. It worked for one day and now they are having issues AGAIN.

And that’s not even the main problem. After several payments, I noticed my balance wasn’t going down, so I contacted them and provided screen shots. They stated they did not see any issues, and when I checked later it appeared as though it was “fixed.”

I felt uneasy, and absolutely do not trust this company or their employees and their cookie-cutter responses, so I completely paid off my balance and requested to close my account. They then stated they would start that process, and then send me a bill for all the interest I owed. Are you kidding me?! So after paying my balance I now have a completely separate interest balance I have to pay? Why isn’t this viewable in my account rather than me blindly getting burdened with yet another bill? The whole point of this was for me to be in a better place and pay off my debt. I feel like I was taken advantage of, and this company is a complete scam.

  • ABSOLUTELY BOOSTED MY CREDIT SCORE!!

I honestly don’t know how I would be able to handle my finances if Tally didn’t help me out. I started with them since the very beginning and always had difficulty paying off my cards but Tally is amazing by helping pay off those cards and I only have to do the min for my cards and pay Tally instead. This boost my credit score from 580 to now 760!! I truly am so grateful to have the help of Tally and they also reply back so quickly if I have any questions. Absolutely recommend it for those who are struggling with their credit score and paying off cards! Thank you Tally 👌
