  • STAY AWAY! Only trust with good credit!

    I would give this ridiculous app a zero star if I could. Obviously the concept is a great idea for those of us who actually need the service. It’s sad that this app only approves those with good credit. I have worked very hard to fix my credit from 400 to 690 and at 690 I still haven’t been approved due to payment history. Mind you Uber by Barclays and citi double cash approved me for 4K but this good for nothing company doesn’t want to trust people who are actually trying to build their credit again. Do not waste your time reading the fake reviews. Go to their Instagram and you will see the real reviews of consumers. You would think they would want to make more money but making the service exclusive is ridiculous. What person with good credit you know has debt? Lol

  • Beware not as advertised

    Tally sounds good and seemed to work good at the start, but it doesn’t work as advertised!

    I have an excellent credit score 800 or so, but over spent for the holidays so I thought I’d give this a try. At first I was confused since I ended up overpaying my card because tally paid the same amount too. Ok, fine, so after 2 months of tally paying my 3 cards, I felt confident that I didn’t have to look at those 3 cards and wouldn’t have to pay for them! Until they didint!

    I was charged for late fees on 2! Their excuse - they said 1 of my card was unlinked, and they said they emailed me several times but the only one I found in my email and spam was 1 email about it and that was past the due date of that card!!!!!! And the other card they didn’t pay??? No response, they just unlinked all my cards like I asked! I guess it was easier to get rid of my and my complaints! I still need to pay for the initial amount they paid out and I can’t wait to do so!!!!!

    If someone files a class action lawsuit on them I’M so IN! This system is no different from other money lenders sending you checks for $50k or so, at least with those you know exactly what you need to pay! Either the tally app is faulty or the entire system is! The point of tally is to make debt paying easier and not add on to the debt!!!

  • Lifesaver

    Let me start off by saying this Tally should only be used if you’ve racked up cards and carry a balance. I have been in credit card debt for awhile and even after doubling my income these cards have been a nightmare to pay down. My interest alone tops 1k every month. Tally has made paying the cards easier and is saving me tons just in interest. Not to mention once the credit line paid off a chunk it shot my credit score up so I can take advantage of better rates. It will be a long haul but after doing the math I’ll be debt free over 2 years sooner then what was going to be possible.

  • Lack Real Time Data and Actions

    AVOID THIS APP. It is not worth the frustration.

    First off, I have had continuous problems with the app because my Capital One cards would never link (which they said was a problem for all users currently). I used Tally Pay for a month or so with no other issues.

    My frustration and issues began when I changed my account setting from Tally Pay to You Pay (where Tally pays from my direct bank account) and they still processed the payment from Tally’s line of credit. I had made a payment directly from my bank (not using the Tally app) because I did not see the You Pay payment post and did not want to pay any late interest fees on my credit card. I also checked the app and there was no Tally Pay or You Pay payment for the credit card showing in the app. Well a couple weeks later, I check the app and see that they Tally had processed the payment from their line of credit, instead of my bank account as the settings were set to. So now I have an overpayment that Tally processed and I personally owe to Tally. When I canceled my account, the rep mentioned nothing about interest accrual but when I got my account cancellation email it says that I am accruing a daily interest on the amount I owe to Tally, which was a mistake made on their part!

    Horrible, vague policies and processes, along with lack of real-time data on the app that trap customers into owing more money. I would not recommend.

  • Disappointed

    Well the commercial made it seem like it was as easy as downloading the app. Once I downloaded the app I had to upload personal information (bank account , routing num etc) what the commercial failed to tell you was you have to be approved your credit has to be ran and you might not be able to get help frm this company, I wasn’t approved after they ran my credit well duh obviously thts why I needed the help frm Tally they gave a second option but I was over it a week later my account was charged $25 for a what I dnt know because they didn’t help me they couldn’t help me I wasn’t approved so me being charged was absurd I’m upset I just got off the phone with the bank for 1 hour tryna figure out where this charge came frm because on my account it does t say Tally it’s a AHC home frm Albert savings so be careful I’m not saying is a scam but it’s pretty weird how I was charged when the app was FREE to download

  • Yikes

    2 stars for concept, but this app is terrible. I downloaded it to redeem the $50 Groupon deal, not realizing that so much personal information would be required (name, address, credit card number, credit card login, and a soft credit check). I unsuccessfully linked my credit card because I couldn’t remember my card login information. Okay, all of this is my fault. I should’ve done more research and had my information readily available. However, the app is terribly designed. Not only have they forgotten to put in “back” buttons to return to a previous screen - meaning you have to fully exit the app to get out of certain screens - but they’ve added unnecessary animations and haptics that take WAY too long to finish and you cannot navigate out of them before they’re done. Plus, once you’ve added one credit card, there is no option to add another before signing up for their line of credit (which I can only assume results in a hard credit check). At this point I have no idea how to just get the $50 applied toward my credit cards, and I’d rather not take a hard credit inquiry to my credit score anyway, so I’m deleting the app.

In order to qualify for our Groupon credit, you must be eligible for our credit line and have over $1,000 in interest bearing debt across all of your linked credit cards. These details are disclosed on the Groupon voucher before your purchase but perhaps we can be more transparent. During the registration process, Tally will only perform a soft credit check to verify your identity and view your credit history to help determine your eligibility for a Tally credit line.   • Crazy About Tally!

    So, Tally approved a credit line for me, and without my asking....they increased it due to my diligent payments! That was awesome! A while into using the app, my Capital One Card was no longer updating it’s balance and eventually no longer supported for the time being. But you know what? Tally has been providing excellent service to me by giving me one easy payment.....and contributing to the increase of my credit score due to lowering my debt to credit ratio. It’s okay. Thank you, Tally, for the service you provide. I hope the issue with Capital One is resolved, and I intend to contact them about it! I can make all my payments individually, but I like this app! It’s cool and easy!

  • This is beyond amazing

    After using this service for almost two years i literally do not have any complaints at all. For me it has worked as advertised and this service has helped me improve my credit score to 750+ which has guaranteed me the best APR possible for my credit class and has saved me a lot of money. Everytime i talk about this app to others they don’t believe me or think im getting paid but this app is legit and has been ever since its inception. The fluidity of the app and the user friendly experience make everything really easy for the consumer. The customer service is amazing and quick. Keep up the good work Tally. You have a customer for life.

  • Horrible Service

    Update: Horrible Cookie Cutter response from company. They try to explain the way they conduct the verification and imply that it was my fault for not getting back to them quick enough. If they had actually taken the time to read my review, I clearly state that I was never informed of anything whatsoever. I was not contacted stating I had 14 days, I was not contacted at all. I had to figure things out myself by calling them. Then when I did call them and told them I had not been contacted they didn’t extend my time to verify or apologize or anything. Just plain rude people.

    The app itself seemed to work ok. I set up my cards, just two. I was all prepared to make my first payments. Then the app stated I had an error and my account would be closed in a few days. After that I contacted customer service to figure out what was going on. They told me I hadn’t responded to their email for requests on further documentation. I never received an email other than the initial setup emails. I informed them of that. They did not give me any extra time to get the documents they requested and simply closed my account. I’ve got great credit and always make my payments on time, there was no reason for me to be treated so horribly.

    Went through a lot of processes finally they accepted me
    It is perfect
    As usual i saw people’s reviews and tried this app
    I have excellent credit score with 300 months payment history without late payment.
    Giving sensitive personal information is not advisable for any reason unless the requester is legitimate and accredited
    I gave them all my credit cards, debit and social security
    With Permission to pull my credit score . And I was accepted and told $3000 credit line was issued to pay all my credits and they have already paid my credit cards.
    But on the process of paying they suggest me to pay my closest due payment to make sure there is no past due date.
    After three days I opened the app and it says all cards haven’t been paid and i have to contact them. And on the email i have to submit paystubs and w2 tax return bla bla
    Conclusion
    Why pretending as if they paid then was not paid. does legitimate company do that ? Or this is just a catch
    Then what makes it different from other loan companies or credit cards with promotional period and balance transfer with Zero APR . They can approve with out any documents just online .
