  • Mail as it should be.

Since the death of Mailbox this app has brought sanity back to handling my inbox.

Regular updates on both mobile and desktop apps. Lead the way with many features others are now offering - snooze, send later, chase up.

Seamless sync between iOS and OS X too, unlike other reviews I've never had draft issues.

  • 4 Stars... almost 5

I have been using PM for quite a while - since Newton Mail shut down.
The things I like in PM are the send later function and the read email tracking, a clean simple UI - which all keep me loyal.
The syncing and lag in delivery is frustrating at times... Oh, and a very basic preference to switch off the email signature after the first email in a thread is well overdue.
I definitely recommend PM as a paid email client - I jump back to Gmail sometimes but always find my way back to PM.

  • Please improve your security

    Hello engineering team and founder,

I would love to see the mobile application and the desktop application have Google authenticator capabilities or something similar integrated, but to start, why don’t you just let us set a pass code or fingerprint authentication to open the app and then a timer that locks the app. Emails are very sensitive and just like my Telegram and Signal and all of the other privacy apps I use, I would expect my email to take security first over everything.

  • Good app but some glitches

I like this app. It is good with tracking and they don't add unnecessary crap like others that would reveal to the recipient that you're tracking the emails. I also particularly love the scheduled send feature, it's so convenient.

    There are some issues though.

    1. Once you set the email name the app sticks on to it no matter what. Deleting it or changing had no effect whatsoever and the emails get sent with the old name as your name.

    2. The app tracks multiple reads but captures the time only for the last read. Multiple reads should be retained with as many entries if the setting is on to track that way.

    3. It would be nice if the app shows the read time and date for all entries (including multiple reads) as it is than just showing x hours or Jan10.

    4. The app doesn't seem to track the file/attachment reads correctly. They should do it similar to emails.

Overall, I'm happy with the app and it has replaced my default apps. Hopefully they work and clear this glitches mentioned above.

  • Mixed feelings

Love the email read and per-recipient tracking for my business. Some more refined use cases are missing from this app and Polymail as a whole (can’t delete old Labels from the app even after clearing the cache and deleting all email accounts from the app and reinstalling the app, as one example)
  • I want to like this app.

I want to like this app. I’ve been using it for about 6 months and it replaced Astro which I really LOVED. I use the Mac version and don’t seem to have as many issues with it there as I do on iPhone.

First, it doesn’t sync drafts. what’s the point of an email app that isn’t fully useful for all functional processes? If I start an email in polymail then have to complete it when I’m at work on a pc? no option. I have to start over.

I also don’t like how the app groups email folders all together. I only put two of my email addresses into this app because it’s difficult to keep track of all the combined folders.

Also, if you draft an email response? you can’t scroll up to look at the previously sent email. How can I respond appropriately if I can’t address each issue in the sent message?

Also, the iOS version doesn’t have the ability to view tracking - it only informs you if an email is read. Doesn’t show you the # of times it was read or any other of the tracking features. you have to go to the Mac version for that.

I’ve actually been an iPhone user for almost 10 years. I’ve never written a review. I want to like this app. but it needs to be much more functional than it is. Especially if you’re going to charge a monthly fee to access some of its features. :-/

  • Missing key features on iPad

Terrible on iOS. No spellcheck on iOS and still no way to compose and navigate out of a draft without having to close out of the compose screen altogether.
  • Waste of time and money

Keep asking me paying money and features are not working properly. Very disappointing app
  • Fantastic app

This email client for iOS and Mac is very well made.
The reliable “read receipt” feature, follow up reminders and templates keep me coming back to this email Polymail.
    The only features missing:
    - Ability to quote blocks of text with indents,
    - iPhone XS Max screen resolution
  • Promising - Needs improvements

After replacing the default Mail app with Polymail around a year ago, Polymail has been my daily mail driver since. The easily-accessible UI, email tracking, and simple but clean design keep me from transitioning to another email client.
However, there are moments in which I ponder the thought of downloading another email app due to certain bugs that persistently reappear. The main issue being Polymail’s glitchy synchronization when deleting mail.
One of the major features that drives me to continue using Polymail is its 3D Touch feature during the lock screen. You can immediately delete, archive, or set an email to remind-you-later without opening the mail itself. However, I find myself re-deleting mail I had already deleted using the 3D feature. It has become an annoyance deleting all the mail from my lock screen AGAIN and ruins the point of having the feature. Polymail’s email badge also does not synchronize properly because of the above reason and it’s an eyesore to see.
But other than the synchronize issue (which I hope is solved in a future update), I believe I will continue using Polymail until another email client improves the swipe-actions better.
