Frustrating

Every version has something new that breaks the old one. I’m extremely frustrated with this. I mean if it works, just leave it alone

Rock solid!

The previous version was excellent; this one goes beyond! By far, the best way to access your home assistant from IOS. Thanks for this incredible piece of software!

Great update!

Latest version adds seamless integration with home assistant and fixes up all the things that were previously fiddly like cloud access and notifications.

Does not work after update

This app was working great up until the last update. Now I get an error that says invalid ID or redirect URL. For now I just removed the app and created a web shortcut. I have seen several complaints around logging in issues after the update. Hopefully this can be resolved soon!

Fails to login

Fails to login following the update? Why break something that worked fine? Now I have to waste an evening to get back to normal.

This is the same reason I quit upgrading the server... something always breaks.

Update: migrated to newest versions and it works. 3 stars for the breaking changes

Major fail

Cannot get pass authentication. Always gives 404 error after submitting username and password.

Problems

So if your running HASS on windows and run into the issue with mobile_app: component not working, mine has to do with nacl._sodium, then the new version is now useless. Wish I could downgrade

Breaking changes, poorly communicated

I'm sure this is a great app, and once I finish changing the configuration on my server, I guess I'll find out.

Having to add a new component and only discovering this when authentication fails is not great. Not auto-detecting my HA install is not great. Not supporting the url forwarding that would let me use this outside my home is not great.

But once I've updated my HA config, I'll see what the app is like I guess, since I can't roll back.

Home Assistant 2.0 Works Well

New 2.0 works well and provided a seamless transition from the previous version.

Nice touch with the initial login configuration screens.

Well done

Eh?

Doesn’t seem to do anything except report a url error!
