OK but needs features
You can quickly make and preview a simple photo book with this app. It doesn’t allow you to edit photos in the app but will update the book layout with edits you make in your photo app — it just takes a lot of switching back and forth for tweaks. It needs some features, like being able to edit the size of the book (for example from 7x7 to 5x5) after it’s started, copy a complete layout to a new book project to edit or expand it, create simple collage page layouts, or undo an edit (like if you accidentally reformat all your pages).Show less@billilg
Love Blurb but...
This app is awful. There’s no way to change font or size of text and all normal functions are very limited. Thought it would be good to use for pics direct from the phone but design options are so limited that it’s not worth the money they’re asking for a tiny book. Go online and use their proper tools in Bookwright or Booksmart to get the best results for your book. They are the best at what they do but this app is not there yet.Show lessGrumpyere

Easy method to create a book quickly
I created a 7x7 book, and would say this size pushes the limits on iPhone 8 photo quality but I am happy enough with the final product, there were professional pics added as well and the colour and quality between them and the phone shots were pretty comparable at this size. The default size for captions is much larger than it needs to be and can not be adjusted so it looks a bit comical in the printed book; Blurb needs to reduce them a few points to allow for more text.
I used canva as an additional app to create pages with multiple images and a cover page with text on it - the blurb app is lacking these features.
I began this by creating a 5x5 book and changed my mind, but had to start over from scratch as the sizes can not be changed once started.
The spine is unprinted and white- i guess i could marker in text if i had a number of these on a shelf to find a specific volume.Show lesscastlecrasher
Easy to Use and Fast!
I like the simplicity of blurb. I made a photo book of a trip I took with my mother-in-law. It is very easy to figure out. Sending it to her for Mother’s Day!Ldoylester
Outrages pricing
1. The prices are way way more than other printing providers. Like 4 times or more.
2. The app won’t update my project so I can import to BookWright and work on it on my desktop.
Of course I’ll never print with them but it’s easy to make first draft and realize direction before working on a more serious software and sending for cheaper print house.Show lessהמר

This app makes it much more easier to get photos off iPhones and iPads but I was a little disappointed that font selections, colors, sizes and positioning is not available.howdie1234
Doesn’t connect to desktop account
I downloaded this to check on a book I created and ordered online, but there was no way for me to do that since it looks like the mobile version is a totally different account even though I logged in with the same credentials. Should have known something was up when I couldn’t even log into my account without giving access to my the photos on my phone.Show lessboyonabike
