Painful frustrating experience for space owners

Now whenever I try to login to see a booking that somebody has made for my own parking space that I have listed (using the booking links from confirmation emails) it directs me to the app where I can only see parking I've paid for in public spaces and the driver view. In the past I've had to switch between driver and owner views, I now can't access my Space owner View anywhere, I have a booking this weekend at my home space which I'm trying to check and now can't access the details to contact the owner or view my account balance to receive my earnings and so on. Awful experience sadly. Shame as it's such a great idea to rent out your spare parking spaces to earn a little bit of money and help other people. 😞

Good app & fab customer service

Just want to counter the negative reviews that can be seen below …
Used the app yesterday in Leeds (worked fine) but unknown to me my wife had also paid for the car park in the hotel!
Clicked on the link to contact customer services expecting the worst but I was so wrong. Within the hour I had received a courteous email (thanks Matt) confirming a refund of the full amount.
No complaints off me!

Terrible app, avoid at all costs & Please use kisko

I downloaded this app hoping to pay for my parking, but I was very disappointed. The app is slow, buggy, and poorly designed. The worst part is the payment screen, which never works. I tried to pay with my credit card, but the app kept saying "processing" for hours. I tried to cancel the payment, but the app crashed. I tried to contact customer support, but they were useless. They did not reply to me until next day, they have Ai bot which is really bad and they did not help me at all. I wasted so much time trying to explain the situation I got into and guess what I got a parking fine and I lost a lot of my time to justify my self. This app is a scam, just pay at kisko if the parking space has it if not do use it and the developers should be ashamed. Do not download this app, it will only frustrate you and your parking space.

Customer Exploitation

Parking initially cheaper than competitors I have used nearby (JustPark) however I have had to pay £20 to extend my booking by an hour which is extortionate to be frank.

Will be paying the higher premium with JustPark from now on as they allowed me to add 3 extra hours completely free of charge- my booking amounted to £5.72 with them, whereas after paying £17 for 4 days, you still find it necessary to charge £20 for an extra hour. Really is not good business practice and it’s put me right off using your company again. Yet I could have extended my booking by a further 3 days and only paid £28?

Instead of allowing me to extend parking for a reasonable price (I paid £17 for 4 days so an hour shouldn’t even cost me 50p) you have taken the opportunity to get more money, and in doing that you will not be having my custom again, I use this location every two weeks and JustPark is the much better option. I am genuinely disgusted by it when your competition is so much more accommodating.

My train was delayed by an hour and that meant I had to foot £20 which was more than my entire bill for the 4 days? Truly poor. Will not be using again unless I am compensated for such poor business practice.

Doesn’t take international phone numbers

How amazing is it that the App nor website will take any version of my international phone number.

Surely a massive percentage of your business targets visitors. Think of all the potential lost revenue & customers that visit the UK from abroad.

Payment doesn’t work

Left with a spinning Loading screen. Tried 4 times but was unable to pay using Apple Pay. A basic function not working = 1 star.

Terrible Terrible Experience and No Support

Parked in Tesco Beccles, tried to pay for more time through the Your Parking Space app (which the sign says you can do) only to get an error on the payment system and then a fine as I couldn't pay. Spoke to customer services and received absolutely no help or understanding of this issue even though I had photos of the error I was getting and they even admitted their system doesn't work properly! Yet still having to pay the fine as they wont help at all. Terrible way to treat customers and I would not recommend using a car park run by Your Parking Space as otherwise you may find yourself with the same problem and no support!

Won’t let you cancel without hassle

This app is designed to make cancelling painful. It’s dishonest and a annoying. My advice: Don’t use it.

International travelers stay away from this platform

Do not book a car park spot outside of the UK using this platform. There are two errors in this platform: 1. Any time difference between the UK and the country you are booking from will result in an incorrect start time for your parking book (the difference in our case was 9 hours earlier!), and 2. the platform allows for double booking - given this, our booking was shared with another booking that the Host accepted meaning we had to move the car for four hours! What a joke! We had a family of four traveling (a pregnant wife, 86 yo grandfather, and an infant) - it was a nightmare! We had a checking time of 10 am, and we couldn't park in our booked spot. Instead, he had to temporarily park off-street whilst we unloaded our belongings in the fastest possible way and in the meantime occurred a GBP40 parking fine in the handful of minutes we had to unload on a quiet street near our accommodation! YourParkingSpace offered a refund, and a 20% discount on our next booking to 'offset' the parking fine. Food for thought - nobody there was in that stressful moment, so a vague 20% discount is the price to alleviate our stress!?! Hour two-day parking was only GBP20! 20% of that is not much if that is the parking rate. No doubt they will rubbish this with a corporate apology in response to this review, but for international travelers reading this, pls be careful as we wouldn't want you to have the stress levels that we did.

Deleting it

Tried to use it at a parking lot. It crashed shortly after launching. Launched again. After choosing to pay, I got a square spinning thing forever. Gave up and paid at the machine inside. It better not charge me for the failed attempt. Not useable I’m afraid. If something gets stuck at the payment portion, then it can’t be trusted ever again. Major fail.
