Dangerous and Unregulated- women avoid at all costs!
Put me and other women in a very dangerous situation with a man sexually praying on women on the site. Hosts are not thoroughly background checked. When I told them what happened, they said they would help me get a hotel due to the extremely traumatizing experience that they allowed to happen, which I have on record in writing, then changed their mind. Offered me no support other then “go to the German police.” If anything happens on your stay they will not support or help you.
I messaged the girl who had been with the host before me and she said that she had already reported the host to Wordpackers. This means that the company was aware of the situation and danger and still sent me there.Show lessthidapp
Unable to login
I created my account with Facebook and every time I choose to sign in using Facebook it says login failed. I’m unable to use the app because i created my profile with Facebook which is quite annoying especially since the website is not made for phone usage. Please fix this bug before I have to leave on my trip!!!Show lessPcsixi
I LOVE WORLDPACKERS
Couldn’t recommend Worldpackers enough for someone wanting to see the world by doing volunteer work. I had one really bad host and Worldpackers were so supportive and helped me immensely to find someone else and to provide emotional support. Super hard to get accepted to volunteer
I spent 5 months on this app trying to get accepted to volunteer smwhere + i payed 40$ for the subscription but no host has accepted my application.
I tried to email the app for help or for a refund but they didn’t give any solution for neither.
+ a lot of host wouldn’t accept you is you don’t have a EU passeport (aka white).

Doesn’t load and crashes
Great concept but the app doesn’t work. Every time I go to report a problem (so they can update the app) it isn’t says ‘oops’.
To access the academy to watch the videos which you need to get the certificate, it doesn’t load.
The help and support page doesn’t load and crashes.
Even when I went onto the website itself it doesn’t open certain pages.
And when reporting a problem on Apple it takes you to a page that doesn’t exist.
Needs fixing asap!

It doesn’t make any sense to pay to use Worldpackers, study to get certificates, fill a profile, make a video talking, and then answer all the questions for the hosts. When they just don’t even reply to say at least “sorry we can’t” they just don’t care and let expired the applications…Jason101010101ppp
Stole my money this app is a scam
So I downloaded this app in hopes of traveling the world helping others in other countries while adventuring, I paid 99$, I got a reply from someone but it wouldn’t let me reply back to them, the app was slow and glitchy, and I couldn’t even complete the courses because the site it tried going to to take them wasn’t a secure site! So I reached out to world packers and told them I wanted a refund and apparently I don’t qualify for a refund even though the app doesn’t even work.Show lessZ1202M

I really live this platform, totally amazing to find abroad opportunities. However, I feel like the website is more user friendly and easy to use. I feel like the search filters and photo uploads are easier on the website. The chat is better on the app for sure !tinosssss
