  • Worst app - bought ticket and never received it

    Terrible app. Bought a ticket with the app yesterday in order to save time at the station. Unfortunately I never received the email with the ticket (I checked my spam folder). So I contacted customer service - they need 5 days to get back to you. In the end I just had to buy a ticket at the station and can now try to get my money back since it’s already been charged to my credit card. Deleted this app immediately. Would highly advise to just get ticket at the station.

  • Worked perfectly - great features

    Have tried the app again today. It is perfect. Appreciate features such as flight departures (will see later if it really does what is says on the tin) and tube updates.

  • Questions

    1. Why can you not store your own payment details? Instead you have to enter everything, emails, card details, address etc. every single time you want to buy a ticket
    2. Why is the typing so slow on the payments page!? There’s like a one second lag every time you key a character. Surely an easy bug to fix!??

  • Slow, inefficient and buggy

    Unfortunately I have to agree with the rest of the reviewers. The app is slower than using the normal web app and it requires a lot of effort to bypass the buggy forms and complete the process. The most serious one: toggling the departure/destination doesn't work, so you may want to be careful and double check you bought the right ticket. I've got the felling we are treated more like QA testers rather then customers.

  • Too many errors

    I've successfully purchased once but couldn't get an actual ticket on my phone, they have to be picked up at a station. Other times I've tried to purchase I get miscellaneous error messages every time.
  • Subpar

    App is buggy and only really provides ability to purchase tickets and even then in web app style and not even guaranteed to work. Better to stick using web page. Most importantly however GX fail to provide promised iOS Wallet tickets which are advertised and only available via purchases made in the app!! Overall opinion, like their constantly cancelled train service - Subpar!!

  • Zero functionality, congratulations

    Without meaning to offend anyone, this app (in the words of our ginger friend) is not going to make America great again. It is really just a ticket buying page in an app and doesn't have the functionality of providing an e ticket or booking confirmation within it. This means it is the same, if not slower (as you have to download it and enter card details) than just using your web browser or the ticket machine to buy a ticket. You would fine more functionality in a house brick or other types of basic masonry. Not great.

  • LOST TICKETS AND GOT CHARGED

    Bought tickets on the app but did not receive the confirmation email. Called customer support and after 30m on the phone they said that I was already charged for the tickets so the order got through but tickets might take up to 2h to be processed. They said I had to buy new tickets and claim myself online via a painful form.
    Lost 2 trains and almost the flight.
    JUST DONT USE THE APP. Would have been faster to use a normal service rather than Gatwick express

  • No Apply pay

    Guys I like the app but I didn't buy tickets as you don't support Apple Pay I don't want to give my cc detail to another service - so it just wasn't helpful enough to buy - but otherwise the app was great thanks for making it

    App still crashes when trying to buy tickets.
