Literally the worst!!!

Beyond disappointed in this company. We have been trying since last May to get our payment in for updated with them and they clearly don’t know what they are doing. Because they kept “updating our info” and not having “record” of this being done we went past due. And they kept going past due until we could no longer afford the bill. At that point we wanted to cut our losses and cancel and they couldn’t even help us with that. They “sent us the cancel forms which never came via email and now have sent us to collections all because they can’t do their jobs. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone we know and after being on the phone with them yesterday asking for help I will be contacting a lawyer since they want to ruin our credit by not doing their FREAKING JOB!!!!

Great!

Awesome app! So easy & useful, I’m loving it!

A Piece of Garbage!

This device does NOT arm/ disarm like it used to! It is useless!
WHY am I paying a monthly fee for an inoperative piece of garbage that used to work?
I could set times for it to arm and disarm automatically- it does not do that anymore!
(My wife found set times to start/stop recording- I never found that important.).
The app updated a few months ago; there was no notice, it just updated.
Fix your mess, before I cancel my service- I am beyond ticked off!

Horrific Customer Service

Using Paperless billing? Beware!!! Had a credit card hacked using auto pay. Payment request was denied by the bank. Realizing there would be an issue made an online payment with the new card. Default response from the company, send a paper bill with a late fee for two straight months without a notice on the app, an email or a phone call. First call I get, settle past due amount and told it was my fault I didn’t call to set up auto pay with a person after I had paid two months earlier with the new card and was already enrolled in auto pay previously. After the payment was made and the system said I had zero balance when I called back to verify, I received three additional calls within 4 hours requesting the same payment. These are the people protecting your home.

It’s not that great with the video. Complicated to use. Poor function. Been using for nearly 1 year and it sucks. Terrible help when you call Brinks. They don’t know what they are doing to help fix the app. Still terrible 3 years later. Don’t buy this.

Love our brinks

Bought the alarm 4 years ago put one in the house and another one in the shop in our yard… installer was good but also a scammer he is long gone thank god and now Telus has bought Brinks out.. we had the sewer back up alarm go off and let us know instantly and now mess the water level puck did it’s job.. had the front door blow opening in the middle of the night cause the kids didn’t close it properly and alarm went off and brinks called within 10 secs I didn’t know what was going on so I walked to the door scared and thought we were being broken into and brinks was on the phone with me to help.. I feel so safe with this system they also have upgraded our panel when we went to 4g and now 5G for free no cost. I highly recommend them..

Horrible App

This app lacks user friendliness. It’s not easy to navigate due to the way the app has been organized. Setting recording rules for cameras is a joke. Clip recording length is set to only 30 seconds which isn’t long enough to see what’s happening when someone lingers within the recording zones. Cameras also don’t allow for two-way talking or sound. The app is very poorly designed and getting help from customer support nearly takes an act of Congress which today will never happen because Congress can’t agree on anything. Brinks is only concerned about getting you to set up auto payments. Their knowledge base is pathetic just like this app. Additionally, the app doesn’t allow you to restart the system which is necessary at times. Resetting notifications on what to record or be notified of is a joke. The system completely ignores your changes.

Terrible

Do not use this company. There’s been multiple times my doorbell has not caught surveillance when needed and they do nothing about it. Biggest regret going with this company.

Brinks app on iPhone

I am very disappointed with switching over to Brinks from ADT, as the app on my iPhone is consistently not loading and just showing a blank white screen. This basically leaves my security system unusable as I cannot control or do anything with the system from my phone. I’vedeleted and reinstalled the app numerous times as well as making sure I have the current iOS uploaded on my phone. I’ve even spoken with the help center to try and get it resolved, they just said they were having technical issues on their end and it should be good to go within a few hours. Well, the problem still persist, so I’m left with writing this review in hopes that there is something that can be done about the software and the app.

Don’t get this system

Nothing ever works properly
