Good and not so good
When you arrive it’s confusing as a non Spanish speaking tourist. Once you acclimatise yourself it’s beautiful- it took us until after lunch! I would advise against the seatrek diving experience- it’s very rushed and visibility is poor. Do the snorkelling at the inlet- bring your own snorkel, it’s truly magical and you will see more and have as much time as you want. The extras are unnecessary- the show at the end is world class and quite emotional! If I hadn’t purchased seatrek which is an overrated waste of money it would have been five stars!Show lessTrish co 1
Not Worth A Visit
Paid for the “plus” package. The website is not entirely clear, but you get one or two activities without paying more money. There are plenty of cultural displays, etc., but if you are looking for actual activities (more than floating a lengthy river and snorkeling) you’ll be paying hundreds more. Go somewhere else, visit a local beach, or relax at your hotel instead of waiting your money at this park. Other XCARET! Parks were incredible and we expected the same, but we’re leaving on the early bus upset and wishing we had done anything other than this today.Show lessLoli’s Hubby
Xcaret Vacation
Worth every Peso!! We had the greatest time snorkling and swimming through the caves!!

Unusable app
I installed this app to see the images from xcaret park and xel-ha park ... it worked only once ... then i tried at least 100 times in 2 days, never managed to open it ... what a shameViorelRudareanu

Buggy app
After a few minutes the back button that takes me from attraction details back to the map disappeared. Then it started jumping from the map back to the home screen. Now I can’t even use the app long enough to buy tickets before it jumps back to the home screen.ZOMG! AGGRO!
Swim with sharks and one very rude trainer
Would have been an incredible experience if it wasn’t for a female trainer on a major power trip. I misunderstood one of the rules while swimming with the sharks. Honest mistake. Right way to approach it would be politely remind me of the rules, but she decided to go well beyond that. Threatened to have me removed and was completely nastyShow lessAlixman54
App doesn’t work without internet
App is useless without internet and you don’t have internet in most of the park. If you close it, you won’t be able to open it again until you get internetpedrito456
The lockers on the bottom roles are for Asians only?
We are Asians. My family visited Xplore today. We were assigned with two lockers in different aisles. Bother we’re on the bottom rows with numbers ending with 0 or 5. This is not a coincidence. I happened to hear other Asian families looking for their lockers, all ended with 5 or 0, on the bottom row out of the 5 rows. Xplore, please give an explanation!Show lesshongcai1
Xcaret is Xtraordinary
Visited Xcaret for a day with my husband. We had a marvelous visit. We purchased the photo package as well as the under the sea experience.
It was amazing walking the seaboard, the divers guiding us were excellent and made the experience even more enjoyable.
The picture package was fun. All the camera were in the best most scenic locations and it helped to get lovely pictures.
The buffet was OK but would prefer the ala cart option. It’s great for big families with children as there was a variety of foods to choose from.
The night show was spectacular. Such a rich history portrayed in a colorful and enjoyable atmosphere.
My suggestion for the show would be to possibly not be so long. Some of the dances from different regions could be scattered during the day in certain locations of the park.
After spending the entire day in the sun and enjoying all the park has to offer a 2 hour show could be too much especially for small children who probably don’t understand the history and evolution of Mexican culture.
Overall this is a must experience for the entire family.
