Get a Sensibo instead
New Gree model ( I have 2 others) never try the wifi before. I have 2 internet services , and other with 5g ( this system can be connected to 5g yet) . Simply impossible to connect. Needs to really work a little harder on compatibility with other intelligent system ( NEST OTHER) .
And please do not mention wifi capability as a plus on this unit until you really work hard on the connection system. Pther than that the ac unit os greatShow lessPito2008andme
Pretty good Integration
Just got the AC/heat split units installed and have them connected to wifi and Alexa.
I’d recommend making the pairing installation process a bit more easier your scanning is a bit strange to store to the cloud.petester80
The App isn’t stable
I have so many problems about how this app is functioning sometimes it works fine and other times it isn’t.
1-You can’t turn on or off the AC properly.
2-The app will tell you the AC is disconnected, however it isn’t.
3-App isn’t running well sometimes it is running an endless loop.
4-You need to close and reopen the app to work(most of the time).Show lessTdosee
Pure Trash
This app is pure trash. If you purchased the AC unit, so be it. Enjoy. As soon as you think you can connect this app to the unit, you’re going to need the AC because the config process will make your blood boil. It simply does not work. Full stop. Terrible, hideous app
I am able to turn my two mini-split units on or off two or three times before they disconnect from WiFi. Reconnecting them is time-consuming, might or might not work, and should not be something I do several times a week!!! It also seems like if you use the remote control or the thermostat on the wall, that will automatically disconnect them from WiFi. I stopped doing that, thinking it would solve the problem, but I was wrong. They also have zero customer support or customer service.Show lessdoggiecouch

Horrible App Full of Bugs
App has always been full of bugs and glitches. Most recent version doesn't work at all. When you click on an ac unit to change the fan speed, swing, etc., it just shows a white blank screen. No update has fixed this issue so far.Jaguarjml
Poorly implemented
the app never connects to the gree+WiFi, when you finally get it connected it constantly fails when you leave your home.. what is the point of “remote connection from Anywhere” when it won’t stay connected ???h20hammer
Won’t connect and instructions are opaque
The app or remote or air conditioner can’t connect to my wifi. I can’t tell what the problem is because the grammar of the diagnostic is impossible to interpret. Why aren’t English-speaking people used to write the instructions?
The supposed manual connection method has me in an infinite loop of choosing a wifi network and pressing “next.”

Update Every Week and get worse
Dear Gree it or who control or manging the app iknow that u r making new versions to get better but Almost every two weeks there is an update and get worse than before
- when i choose the ac to control it shows loading at sand timer and never end
- plz plz plz plzzzzzzzzz when u make update to sign me out we use this to our company and email and pass with the maintenance team every update we have to call them to come and open it!!!
