Avoid

I did not find the application appealing, so I wanted to stop after the trial period. I could not find out how to cancel the subscription on the app so I wrote them a message requesting to cancel. They just responded me by sending the same rubbish link on how to cancel, that I was already aware of and was not working for me. Then they still charged me £31 despite I asked them to cancel more than a week before. They also tried to charge me £21 for another plan the same day, it’s in a way lucky that I did not have enough money on my account for them to charge... I have no idea what they are charging me for, as I only signed up for the Trial. I regret paying them £14 for the trial, what a waste of money. In the end I managed to cancel my subscription by logging into the website (as the cancellation was not working on the application or through my Apple Subscriptions) and now I’m waiting for a refund. They are really just after your money and they make sure it really difficult to leave the subscription. Avoid, it’s not worth. There are better and cheaper applications out there.

Endless upsells and marketing

I was led to believe this could be used as a basic free app and that adding a subscription for premium content was optional once you had got a feel for whether you liked the app, but this doesn’t seem to be the case. I was made to fill in a series of tedious questions and then a pop up prompted me to pay before I could even look at the ‘personalised’ schedule and see if it is suitable for my needs. There doesn’t seem to be a way round this, or if there is then it is well hidden. A countdown says that your “personalised” results will be saved for 15 minutes - presumably this has been deemed the optimal time for most people to dig out their credit card!

I am heartily sick of seeing ads for apps like this on social media and think apps that have to be paid for should state this up front. There is zero point to filling in their forms (and sharing your personal information and email address for their marketing database) if all that it leads to is a demand for payment for something you have not tested. Have seen this many times on everything from mindfulness apps to somatic yoga and wall Pilates and I now routinely hide and block anything that invites me to “take a 3 minute assessment” - ie share all my personal information with a company only interested in getting me to set up a direct debit 😡

A good concept but here’s my experience -

When you fill the questionnaire at the start it asks you things that you are already good at and areas you want to improve on (working out and eating healthily -and yes that includes water- were the areas I was strong in, procrastination, motivation and focus were areas I wanted to seriously work on). I was really excited to start the next day with tasks to get me more productive and focussed but the app only let me achieve drinking water and give me a well done if I said I drank a glass of water this morning. Guys, news flash lots of people have a water bottle on them at all times, we don’t need talking through it. Why not ask us if we drink enough water and if we drink it when we wake up? You’re wasting showing us what this app can really do if that’s what you get us to achieve first.

You’re then told after signing up that you’re going to now get charged twice unless you cancel Apple subscription and when you go to cancel in the app (you’re asked to set up a profiler in google or Facebook so you have to message to cancel).

If you want people to use your app, make it user friendly and actually tailor it to the initial questionnaire.

SCAM WATCH OUT! Use dead bank card

I got the app through instagram with the intended use to try the trial but cancel early so that I don’t have to pay $63 for something I’ll probably forget to use but they literally gave you a fake button for “cancel” on the subscription page. You can’t go to apple iPhone subscriptions either to cancel which means this is one big scam. Tried google and safari and the “cancel” button is fake. It prompts “search on google and copy” when you hold down on it. Also charges $1 every time you change your payment method settings or try a FREE $0 trial , they still charge $1. Hack for users: use a dead card so when they try to charge you, nothing will ever go through. Since it’s not on apple iPhone subscriptions, it won’t halt your apple store app with “fix payment” if you just don’t have the money in the dead card account that you’re using. (Use a card with $1 on it, then never put money on it again and it won’t affect your Apple Store account anyway because they’re shady and don’t actually have an option for you to cancel. Fight fire with fire) enjoy getting no money from me and everyone else now 💕 should have made a proper app with good intentions.

Constantly hounding for money

There were at least 6 different pop ups requesting premium prescriptions, each with a different amount per month. I accepted on subscription but this did not transfer to the app. I was then hounded with emails asking me to “complete the sign up” to premium. Despite this, money was taken from my account so I have attempted to contact customer services twice to get clarity on this and ultimately cancel the subscriptions and trials. These requests have been ignored and I have not received a reply. I am just waiting for the 2 weeks to refresh and they take even more money out my bank.

The app is not ADHD friendly at all. It’s confusing, overstimulating and not easy to navigate at all. Most routines need premium to actually assign. The app hasn’t helped me at all and I just want to cancel and get rid asap, but even when I deleted my account and the app it stayed “you need to submit a request to cancel any trials or subscriptions. TIP: don’t sign up via the website, do it through the app if you must so you can definitely cancel subscriptions through Apple settings!

An Adventure of A Lifetime

I am not sure how I ended up with 'fabulous,' in my phone but something about its graphic design caught my attention and I had to open it, instead of doing the mundane and uninstalling it. Fabulous is simply fabulous, I did not even mind paying a small sum for premium. The application makes the journey of creating good habits personal, exciting, fun and certainly rewarding. Fabulous has already reminded me of the importance of drinking water and I already feel and think much better. Plus, did I mention the graphics. It's a whole new world 😳 I am even addressed by my first name, which makes me feel grateful and accountable too. The interaction is fun, engaging, practical and meaningful. Intellects are quoted and there is so much to learn. Best habit building application I have found so far 😍 Thank you for the amazing, creative and thoughtful creators of 'fabulous'. Fab fun indeed 🔮🥺

I tried to message you all on Instagram and I tried to go on your website and send you a personal message so as to not have to do this, concerned if anyone will read this and respond… I was one of the first trial people when you all first began your journey. You had a sphere and all that stuff and I even got the emails daily too, that had all these great ways of helping you and your daily goals, etc. Please know I’m a huge fan. With that being said and because I really use to love the app so much, I wanted to try and convey the need for an option to have audio always and a different voice talking when you have things read out loud. I’m pretty sure at one point you all had a man reading stuff as well as a woman. As a woman, I find it very strange in requesting this, but the man helped me take it more seriously he read it differently or his voice was different. If you all were to have a man reading, please let me know as I would definitely sign back up.
Also, the app is now overly stimulating, there is too much to look at and I can’t figure out what to do next or what the process is or what I’ve done and what I haven’t done. I feel like I’m going in circles when I use your app now. It gives me anxiety now in relation to the beginning when I had lots of peace and tranquility when using it. I truly hope you take these words to heart.

Buyer beware - overcharging

Reading the feedback below I can see I’m not the only one who has experienced this problem.

After downloading the app during the free trial I decided it wasn’t for me. I cancelled my subscription in the app and deleted it from my iPhone.

Six months on I have had half a dozen attempts from them to charge my card (with no $$ in the account) and upon going back through billing see this is the third time they’ve charged me for an app I absolutely cancelled in the app during the free trial.

I proceeded to cancel AGAIN via their online dashboard - successfully - only for them to charge my card two days later even though the membership has been cancelled twice before.

Contacting customer service, I only asked for the most recent charge to be refunded not the two prior - despite them being fraudulent charges - and their team are refusing. I cannot stand companies that go out of their way to make it hard to cancel; don’t follow it through; and don’t refund when they have blatantly breached the conditions of holding your CC number. It is theft.

It does what it’s meant to do and doesn’t ask too much of you!

I thought it would have faulty information/advise or unreliable sources, but what it’s been saying has been sound so far and from sources I find fairly solid. I also thought it would be hard to use, but everything seems easy to locate and a lot of it just pops up when you need it! But my main concern in getting the app was that it would immediately demand money or would have a sucky free option that’s only effective if you pay for premium, but to my surprise, it hasn’t required anything really so far! I don’t have money at the moment, but with the cost they ask for, (especially with the student discount), I would definitely pay for it no question about it!

As a very introspective person, I’ve already developed a good understanding of my mind and the things I need to do to balance out my life, but I’ve always struggled with actually knowing if I’m right or not. I have ADD, (like ADHD without the hyperactive), and I really needed an app to mark down the things I did and the things I need to do, and this has been a great app for that!

I would definitely recommend this app for anyone who needs help with organization, productivity, and/or motivation.
