My favourite coffee shop but

Barristers have annoying habit of taking your order while preparing someone else’s and turning away after they’ve heard the first thing before you have finished. Today the person in front of me was given her coffee and then ordered the second drink she’d been unable to order because the barrister was in too much of a hurry. So she was forced to watch her coffe getting cold while mine was being made. Then I had to ask the trainee who was working on an order for a third customer but had been told to take my money, for a mince pie, fridge-cold and felt it was not worth asking fir it to be warmed.
Result- three customers given bad service because the barristers were not giving customers a chance to place their full orders.

Holywood Co Down cafe service 2 weeks ago and today

Two weeks ago Staff today not as smooth or professional as normal - indeed we have had trainee baristas in the last month who should never have been appointed as they don’t listen and get coffee orders badly wrong Today mask not coving nose Health issue - feeling good welcome not really Pity as usual staff fabulous these two are letting the side down a bit like Laurel and hardy only worse today Sadly a barista who is allegedly trained Took my order and then resumed chatting with his friend when I informed him that I hadn’t finished my order he took unbridgeable. I don’t know his name but he’s short dark haired and has glasses and is the trainee barista above - the manager Sean was busy doing stock check looked up but did nothing - because of the guy with glasses attitude I decided to cancel my order and walked away - no apologies from anyone I have supported this shop for years and am increasingly disappointed in the service provided by some staff - going out for coffee or lunch is supposed to be relaxing not a fight to be heard Please do something about this as I love the product but not how it’s delivered A Hoskins

good app experience

I’ve been going to cafe nero for a long time so when they released an app, I had to see what was up. Needless to say, the app works great and really makes the whole process of ordering and getting rewards much easier.

Not an app issue, a company issue

Management short staffs it’s locations, meaning that even if you order online, you have to wait in line to get them to actually make your order. why bother having this functionality?

Free coffee alert not valid

I received a notification this morning for free coffee day. I was unable to find anything to use in store when I purchased my coffee today.

Brill service and team

Having recently moved to the area and previously used cafe Nero in bury at Edmunds ( which I didn’t like) and swapped to costa I am pleased to say the team at Darlington are the best and I have swapped back to cafe Nero! I come in daily and get one coffee for in and one for takeaway first thing in the morning.
The team are supper friendly and supportive of people and are always there to help in anyway they can!
If there is a reward scheme that you offer to the staff I feel that the team here in Darlington go above and beyond and deserve something to say thank you. I know the last year as been hard for everyone but it seems as if no matter what is going on outside of their work they always smile and help
Please give them a reward

Nero App

App is good, but there really needs to be a way to save your “home” location as a default and a way to save your regular orders as well.

Not the usual good service

I am a regular at Nuneaton’s branch and love going there - great staff and great service. I really don’t like complaining as everyone there is so welcoming and always knows what I have to drink, but I feel that I do need to give feedback. There is a new girl started there and is obviously training - which I understand is not easy - but I don’t feel that when I was served by her the other day that she gave good customer service. She didn’t smile, and was a bit abrupt when I didn’t hear her question the first time. I do wear hearing aids, but am not an old person, so was a bit taken aback. She completed my order and then just put my coffee on the tray, didn’t speak or look at me and then just walked to the other end of the counter. Was so surprised - perhaps she was having an off day, I don’t know, but I do work in retail and understand that a smile and a nice word goes a long way. Won’t stop me going there as all the other staff are so nice - will try again!

Decent but needs improvements

I like 👍🏻 Nero and their new app rewards; however, not all locations are same in quality of food & coffee ☕️ prep and delivery (freshness and warmth - yes, sometimes it’s not so fully saturated a sandwich 🥪 or still feels semi-frozen!) and most definitely ALL locations have at least one ☝🏻 or two ✌🏻poorly trained, unresponsive, grim or downright rude and condescending staff! It’s unbecoming and…some locations (ahem, near Mall) I don’t even go to at all because of that! Cheers 🥂 and good luck fixing that.🤛🏻

Missing half of my raisin croissant

Just wanted to share my disappointment at receiving a very small (and possibly half eaten?) pain aux raisins on my mobile order this morning.
