Quick and Convenient
I had been dealing with a fairly painful UTI for almost a week and it became clear that it wasn’t going away on its own, but I was worried about going to the hospital or urgent care because of the fees without insurance. I called Planned Parenthood to try to make an appointment, unfortunately their next available time was three or four days away which wasn’t an option with a UTI. But the woman on the phone suggested I check this app to see if it can help. I downloaded it, filled out my information, and within 12 hours I had a message from a doctor and a prescription for antibiotics ready at the pharmacy, paid about $20 for talking to the doctor on the app and only $5 for the antibiotics. First time having a UTI and this app was a lifesaver. In under an hour I had a prescription sent to the pharmacy of my choosing. $25 consultation fee and this app is so worth it to avoid having to go in to the doctors for an appointment. I answered some questions through the app, I received a message from the clinician reviewing my chart to confirm my symptoms to make sure it was a UTI and nothing else, I immediately received a prescription and then I called the pharmacy to ensure when I could pick it up. My go-to for birth control
Simple, easy, quick, and excellent medical care! I used to have to jump through hoops to get birth control because my insurance was tied to my school with a religious affiliation, and they would not prescribe birth control for contraceptive purposes. It was all so ridiculous. Now I use this app, fill out quick medical history, consult with provider as needed (and all the providers I have connected to through this app are great), and just like that birth control mailed right to me, with auto refills for a year, all at a very reasonable price. I wish this existed a long time ago!
With COVID making it risky to go to a doctor's office for my birth control prescription, this app has been extremely helpful during the pandemic. It only took me a few minutes to request birth control, and I heard back from a super friendly clinician within 24 hours. Getting birth control pills sent to my home instead of having to make stops at a pharmacy every month is a big plus. Lost a customer of two years.
Physicians clearly don’t listen and don’t respond to the needs and wishes of the patients. I experienced constant bleeding with a BC and went to the doctor and was told to stop. After I went I contacted my prescribing clinician to explain the horrific problems I have and that I wanted to switch back. She then tried forcing me to stay on the same script that the hospital had just told me to discontinue, after telling me to “go to the hospital if you’re bleeding continuously” - which clearly said to me that this entire time she wasn’t listening and was just trying to push their new sponsoring brand. Went straight to the pill club, had a virtual appointment, and got my BC of MY CHOICE THAT I’M PAYING FOR prescribed within 24 hours and sent to me for HALF THE PRICE EVEN WITHOUT INSURANCE. Never again, as a cervical/ovarian cancer survivor- trying to continue to prescribe what she did was DANGEROUS to say the least.Show lessLaenaLuvv
So Quick and Helpful
I’m currently out of state, my OBGYN is 2,000+ miles away, and the nearest Planned Parenthood is two hours away. It was my first time experiencing my particular set of symptoms, and I was really nervous and felt stuck. I’d heard of this app and decided to give it a spin - I was picking up antibiotics at a pharmacy nearby within an hour. The app was so clear and my clinician, Jessica, was very nice and helpful. It only cost $25 on the app for the ‘visit,’ and I felt as valued and taken care of as I would have felt with a doctor sitting right in front of me. I’d absolutely recommend this to anyone.
The app froze a couple of times, and the messages from my clinician were in another menu called ‘order history’ - if there were another category created only for the messages, that would be a bit better. That was my only gripe, though, everything else was perfect!Show lesspnwsunshine

I started my first birth control order in the middle of the night and even though they promise a response within 24 hours, I figured I'd hear back in a day or two. Nope, my friendly nurse practitioner got back to me within hours with a couple of follow up questions and responded to my answers almost immediately. In less than 12 hours I've had a full conversation with her and have a prescription birth control approved by their mail order pharmacy. As said, I’ve used two apps now, NURX and Planned Parenthood Direct. I loved the former, don’t get me wrong, but they started getting backed up in recent months, and when I moved to a new state, they couldn’t help me anymore.
That’s when I learned about PPD, and they do so much more than my previous, even just through the app. Not only is it a wonderful service for women everywhere, but it just became substantially more convenient and you don’t have to go to a physical location for some of the more basic services if that’s important to you.
Admittedly, PPD was more expensive to order, but I’m happy to give them a few extra dollars more to help them continue helping women all around.
AND THEY WEREN'T BACKED UP! I got my order wayyyy quicker than I ever did with my old company, and with more options for how many months I wanted to order at a time.

Fast, friendly, and easy to use!
My name is Jackie and I’m a mom of 2 boys. Due to covid-19 I have been unable to be seen with my OB/GYN and was needing a quick solution. In about 15mins I was able to use this app to fill in information, verify my identity, decide on a birth control method great I’m happy with, place an order and pay for it. About an hour later I was messaged by a doctor through the app addressing my questions about the BC I selected and received tracking information letting me know when I would get my order. Ordered on a Thursday afternoon and it’s supposed to be here Monday. Pretty awesome! Now for what I bought (6mos birth control pills) it is $150 which isn’t cheap but with my insurance, that’s about what the cost of the office visit would’ve been even with my birth control being free through my insurance. The smallest pack they mail is 3mos and it’s $75. But no random fees and it’s an easy to use app. Very satisfied!Show lesskeepingitmomof2
Highly recommend! Super convenient!
This is my first time rating an app! It’s really convenient to get the birth control pills prescription via Planned Parenthood app. And the clinician answered all the questions I had and always got back to me immediately! I also downloaded another app they recommended to remind me to take the pills and track my periods. It’s just awesome!
So before I knew this app, I actually went to the Planned Parenthood for getting an appointment for the birth control. But unfortunately during this coronavirus pandemic, they said the appointment will need to be scheduled for one month later. So that’s why I knew I can just use this app to get the prescription!
