Reviews of Teladoc Health Patient

  • Not anxiety-friendly

I have severe anxiety and was using WebMD. My insurance decided to change to Teladoc this year. When I logged in to find a mental health provider, there were no females available. I had to seek care elsewhere.

Then I made an appt with a therapist through the app since it would be no copay. I waited a full 15 minutes past my appt time and she never showed. When I canceled out of it and put the reason as provider didn’t show, I just got a message that said I wouldn’t be charged. No follow-up or apologies from the company or anything. That doesn’t seem very professional in my opinion and it is very rude to leave someone with anxiety just hanging like that. I kept worrying that I had hit the wrong button or maybe had the wrong time, or any number of other things.

    Definitely do not recommend!!
  • App freezes. Not usable

App freezes on “allow local network” page every time - so it cannot be used
  • Meh

2+ hour wait time, not cool. App does not tell you what place in line you are or how many patients are ahead of you either so it's hard to gauge if you should cancel appointment and try again another time or sit around and wait... I am not a doctor but I still have an important life to live, job, kids, pets, etc.
