  • Black Costco CIBC MasterCard Denied

    The Mastercard LoungeKey website requires you to have a black flag MasterCard and doesn’t specify what bank or even if Costco MasterCard flag is or isn’t allowed to use this Lounge benefit. This app keeps denying my credit card saying it’s invalid. Then you call LoungeKey and then your own MasterCard in Canada to find out CIBC Costco Mastercard is NOT entitled to even pay to access this so called MasterCard LoungeKey room at the airport in São Paulo Brazil. This is absurd! I am not allowed in this lounge because even though I pay a year fee to have this MasterCard which is black (you “gain” many more benefits) they won’t even sell me access to the lounge. Now I’m stuck in the common area for 10hrs until I’m allowed to do international check-in to Canada. So I can’t even nap for a minute because I have to watch out for my belongings. That’s really sad to see this happening. Please do better in making it very clear what MasterCard Bank flags are indeed allowed to pay for access to this lounge. Please don’t make people feel stupid after downloading this app and making many attempts to validate your black flag MasterCard and then making international calls to finally figure out what’s going on. Black flag CIBC Costco MasterCard is NOT welcome in this app and in the lounge. “MasterCard, Thank you for Nothing!”.

    You gotta sign in every single day, the App continuously sign out the user.

    There is not Apple Wallet link anymore.

    Comparing to similar Apps at this level is under (really under) the average.

    Is is too difficult to benchmark?

  • Can’t get into the lounge

    Every time I try to enter the lounge, the app tells me that it fails to load the data so I can’t get the QR code to get in. Not a happy traveler.

  • Unable to register my 28Degrees MasterCard

    Unable to register my Australian 28Degrees MasterCard at all. This “airport lounge” experience is heavily advertised by 28Degrees and yet they can’t even do a simple thing like synchronise up with LoungeKey. Oh well. Have to use my AMEX to access the lounges then.

    I am told that my world elite Mastercard is eligible for lounge access.
    I can’t even register my card online either on the app or via my computer!

    I try to log in to the application and it doesn’t accept my card!!!!!
