  • Great idea

Great idea but very incomplete and not always thorough enough. If you’re lucky enough to find all your particular models in here (or particular marine chapter), then congratulations. Also, when you click a specific part for color identification, it often shows you a marine jump pack as an example instead of the part you selected- not very helpful a lot of the time. I’d like to see them fill this app up to be more complete and add in accurate specific piece examples. God knows GW makes enough money off of us that they can afford to pay a team to get cracking on it.

  • Actually I like it but there still several things that could be better

Barcode scanner doesn’t support previous versions of shades and texture bottles (which were in small pots). One of the paints were scanned as spray but it was actually a base paint. In color schemes it doesn’t show that you own a shade if it’s regular but you added a gloss version. When you initially scan all your paints there should be a different mode without any extra actions because now when you add a paint you should tap on icon of the list where you want to add it and then close that modal window.

  • Needs more examples

Brilliant app and has helped me figure out many different combinations to experiment on my own models, but I feel like there aren’t enough examples to go off and alter. Personally, vehicles are a hard thing for me because of all the areas and different options painting them gives, but I would absolutely love some vehicle demonstrations to go off to help me out with both my Blood Angels and my Orks

  • Great and useful! But...

This app has a lot of uses and has been great so far. Very intuitive and will certainly save some time.

One thing I would love to see added, though, is customizable paint listings. For example, if there's a specific way you paint your dark turquoise, you can create a new listing or duplicate and then modify the existing listing so you'll always remember your custom color.

Another great addition would be if users could take photos of their own miniatures and then mark specific parts with paint schemes, either pre-made in the app or with their own custom schemes and techniques.

These additions would remove the chore of painters losing or forgetting the custom schemes they have developed, and would keep everything related to painting their miniatures in one spot.

  • Good app to start with for painting

I suggestion i can think of to improve the app is have the ability to display the figs in their force groups. I really don’t care about the majority of the available forces and want to go straight to the relevant group for me.
  • Really Useful, great work

First of all, great app, very useful. I wanted to post this to provide some constructive feedback.

The filter is a great improvement but it’s annoying if you only want to see one type of paint to have to uncheck all the other types (especially since it clears your filter when you leave the page). It would be better if the filter was off by default and selecting things turned it on.

Paint pot icons, I think a minor change that would improve usability would be differentiating the paint pot icons by paint type. As a suggestion for how this may be done, some colour coded text would probably suffice. Also changing the spay icons to look like spay cans.

Filter by model. It’s not a big deal at the moment but if the plan is to add more colour schemes (which I highly encourage) to this page then I think a way of filtering down the model section would be useful. I would guess that by faction makes the most sense. A way of saving your favourite schemes would also potentially be useful.

More examples of each colour scheme, how I paint a basic infantry model is not necessarily the same as a more detailed character so more simple and complex examples of a colour scheme would be helpful.

The first version was very polished and the updates so far are all going in the right direction, keep it up.

  • Perfect start

Awesome way to get beginners into painting citadel miniatures using citadel paints. Adding more colour schemes to the Models section would allow beginners more variety in which faction they wish to paint such as specific traitor legions, craftworlds, chapters etc overall a wonderful app with potential to be the most expansive painting resource ever.

  • Amazing start. This is now a must have.

Edit 2: My score has now been upgrade to 5 stars as the filter has been implemented and all other paints have been added. This app is now how it should be. Just keep the content coming with the guides and this will never be deleted. 👌🏻👍🏻

Edit: My score has been upgraded to 4 stars as the new update has added the two missing paints for me. Now we just need a filter to be able to show only layer/base/shade etc. Oh and more videos of course 😉

What a great app. This is going to be one of the apps that I use far more often than anything else. So why did I give it 3 stars? Well it's not perfect yet. There are a couple of minor things that need to be added to gain those extra stars. Firstly there seems to be a couple of paints missing. Specifically Ahriman Blue and Thousand Sons Blue. Even if these are colours that are not a regular part of the range (just speculating) the fact that they only came out a short while ago should mean they are on the app to add to you your inventory. Secondly a simple filter system on the invent/wish lists. That way for a collector who wants all the paints they can see at a glance exactly how many of each paint range they are missing. After that it would simply be a case of regularly adding miniatures and more content to the app. But add those two points and this becomes a five star app.

  • Useful but minimally flawed

As a newcomer to miniature painting this app is awesome but the models in the “Paint By Model” section are to small to read on an iPhone screen. Text is perfectly clear but the tiny image of the model is hard to see clearly, might as well be a silhouette of the figure
  • Good + suggestion

Good and straight forward app to use would suggest adding the paint conversion chart in someway as I still have a lot of paints from the old system
