I love this app so much. Each morning as I have my coffee I take time to read and savour the words of wisdom it offers. I love the way Liz uses the voices of poets and prophets of past and present to speak truth, compassion, kindness and justice to the issues we face today, both in our world and in our selves. The mindfulness prompt helps me to breathe deeply and try to integrate what I have read into my life. Most importantly this app helps me to be aware of God’s presence and grace as I start each day.
I recently had a technical problem with the app which Jesse helped me resolve it almost immediately.

Money Well Spent
As advertised, these daily devotionals remind me to think of my life in ways that encourage love, generosity, and creativity.
These daily lessons are thoughtfully done, and gentle in presentation, yet inspiring.
Spiritually speaking, they are what I have been searching for in many ways. They help me to continue to believe that looking for the best in others is worthwhile, and that this is what we are meant to do with our lives.
There’s no talk of being “better” than others or any of that judgey stuff. Instead we are shown that we can create a life of real beauty and loving connection, that the work can pay off. Oh, and that a loving creator is helping and guiding us along the way.
I’m so glad I invested in this app. I feel that I’m getting more than I’ve paid. Keep up the good work.Show lessHunnybajjer

This makes spending time with God easy, refreshing & character building. I love how unique each day is, and how Liz inputs emotion into each devotion. And they’re all backed up biblically, but it’s not too heavy if you’re new to your journey of faith.bethsbookshelf

The daily encouragement I receive from this app is immeasurable. Countless times I have been going through a rough patch in my day or life in general and have opened this app and Liz has just put things in perspective. She lets you know that you’re not alone in the way you may be feeling and gives you permission to be you and feel the way you feel, but also have hope! She reminds you that everyone is important and has purpose, but you, specifically you, matter and have Divine purpose. the devotion i have been waiting for
for years now i have been searching for a daily devotion that wasn’t entrenched in evangelical language and practices. i loved fr. rohr’s daily meditations but they were often too heady for me. practice co is along the same vein and ways of thinking as fr rohr (from what i can tell) but told in a way that is easier for me to grasp.
the focus on goodness and light and love is what my soul has been craving. i’ve recommend this app to so many of my friends who have been searching for a different way of participating in Christianity that isn’t exclusive, patriarchal nor simplistic.

Bro. Idk who is leaving these 1 star reviews. And not gonna lie it made me skeptical. But let me save you the heart ache - get this app.
2 weeks of free devotionals which is a healthy amount of time to see if your comfortable with the app. And then it’s only 12$ a year!!! Which again seems like a lot for an app but it’s a WHOLE year AND it’s like the best devotional book you could have that will never be dated. Think of it as 365 wonderfully brilliant and new devotions a year.
The heart that goes into these devotions shows nothing but uplifting Holy Spirit guidance. I love this app. Truly. I can’t thank the developers enough. It’s great guidance to get in tune with your life and the word. And also poets, and art, etc etc

This app is everything I needed. I had strayed from my faith for a long time. Though I still felt very spiritual, I just could not go back to the conventional way of practicing. At the beginning of this year, I knew I wanted to work on my relationship with God again and this app has been so very raw and relatable for me. I couldn’t have asked for anymore more than just what this is. Thank you for this. The only complaint that I do have is that I have read a few pieces where the author writes about “us” and refers to “us being white”. I am Asian American and I do refer a lot of my friends who are of other ethnicities to this app. I just want her to know that her readers may be diverse and sometimes when I read those things it’s a bit off putting.
