love LOVE the devotional but the app consistently crashes
I’ve used this app for over a year and love that it’s become a consistent part of my morning routine. It’s definitely something that helps me have perspective and brings me closer to Jesus! I’m only giving it 4 stars because I’ve always had issues with the actual app (the content is AMAZING, 5 stars) and this morning I can’t even open it. It says it recently updated but it keeps crashing on me. And in the past it seems to consistently forget that I’m a paying member so I have to re-authenticate myself in order to see my favorite devotionals.

Breath of fresh air
Like a breath of fresh air fills my body with new found energy so do the words I read in each of these devotionals. I am so grateful for the gift you share of your words, thoughts, connections and art. They help me set my course for my day, remembering what is truly important. There have been moments when I have just a short amount of time (waiting for a bus, waiting in line) and need some grounding and reading the devotional is exactly what I needed.
I have been introduced to so many of my now favourite writers through quotes shared and love the ability to save my favourites. As well, the wallpapers often become my own phone wallpaper to remind me of my focus for the day.
Only hiccup would be that sometimes it has difficulty loading at the start though eventually it comes through. This could be my phone too.
One feature that could possibly be useful would be a place where I could add notes to journal about a particular devotional to refer to at a later time. Perhaps this could be where the mindful prompt could be?

My husband and I have been using this app for quite a few years. What I personally love about it are many things. Many of us grew up in the church and therefore were “brainwashed” for lack of a better word, into not thinking outside of anything we were not taught on a pew on a Sunday. This produced massive amounts of judgement attitude and left little room for grace. In my life God has shown up and shown me so much about acceptance and love since that time. Liz and her many guest writers take everyday life and experiences and WRAP them in love. The very basis of Jesus’ messages. You will never not get at least one nugget out of these devotionals. I’m truly grateful for the time I get to spend with Liz each time I open one of these outpourings. And truthfully her writings have led to me opening up books of authors I previously knew nothing about. I will continue reading these until the writing stops. Hopefully that won’t happen for a very long time. I highly recommend!Show lesslauralee garofalo

This app is so much more than just an app .It provides daily devotions and series about different topics and situations we face in life. It’s one of the first apps that I open up in the more. The devotions draw me closer to god in every way and have become such a blessing to me. It challenges me in the way I think about things and helps me have a more godly perspective on life. Nice short reads but makes you think about things throughout the day. The devotions normally come with a quote or bible verses which are a good way to continue on from the devotions. This app has helped me deepen and grow my relationship with godShow lessmorto23

I‘ve been in the Christian bubble since I was a child. What I’ve found to be one of the most difficult things about the bubble and about relatability to Christianity in general is “Christian language”.
On the one hand, in many Christian spheres, there is a disconnect from our humanity - speaking a language that does not translate to our earthly realities of pain, struggle, suffering, doubt, wrestling, questioning. There is sometimes an airy and whimsical language filled with fantastical concepts, platitudes and an overdose of sugary politeness.
And on the other hand, there is a pedantic, intellectual language filled with scholarly concepts that miss the basic goodness of the gospel - a language that does not speak to the simple power of communion with God and each other by just being here and human and alive and present.
The Practice Co devotionals are the sweet spot, the beautiful balance. Without sugarcoating and without being too heavy, the devotionals are both simple and profoundly deep.
These short reads make Biblical concepts and perspectives (and Christian life in general) more real and relatable than hours long sermons I’ve listened to.
Everything about my experience with The Practice Co has exceeded expectations. Not to mention how helpful Jesse was when there was a glitch in my app. He followed up on making sure the issue was fixed and made sure I got my daily devotions until it was.

If you’re on the fence about subscribing, don’t be!! There is a reason this app caught your attention!
I really enjoyed this app the minute I downloaded!
CUSTOMER SERVICE: The issues I had were that my dailies weren’t uploading and I hadn’t noticed for weeks at a time. But I think the issue may have been that I originally subscribed and then had to unsubscribe for a handful of months. Once I resubscribed, my app had periodically reverted back and my subscribed dailies disappeared. I contacted customer service and, I have to say guys, Jesse was super helpful and took the time to LISTEN to what was happening and responded accordingly! That in itself was amazing! There were no scripted responses that made you feel like you just wasted 20 minutes of detailed explanation or worst yet, automated responses by an AI! No, Jesse (and Liz💜) are just amazing!
APP: I love it (despite the slight hiccups I’ve encountered) I am still trying to make a habit of checking daily, and when I do, I am never disappointed with the messages! I have been on a journey of self love and mindfulness and these daily devotionals really are food for the soul!

This app is really easy to read and digest on a daily basis. The daily reflections are mature, carefully crafted and thought provoking. I have not once been disappointed with what is written and I truly think this is the best app of its kind out there. Remarkable and worth every penny. Start the day with a purpose.
What I love about The Practice Co App Is waking up each day with a reminder set to read what God has challenged me for the day. Usually as I read the Devotion, is gives me a mindset and focus on the day ahead. Not only me, if I can send an encouraging word to a friend struggling, I send off the Devotion. Nearly every time a positive answer comes back to me from them.

A beautiful daily read
This is one of my favourite and most consistently used apps on my phone! I love the devotionals and have been reading them for the past 3 or 4 years- they are beautifully displayed and lovingly written. Best devotions & even better costumer service!
I have been using this app for a couple months now and the devotions are AMAZING! Every single day, they tend to hit home. They leave me with a better understanding and a yearning to continue reading scripture in the Bible. Reading these scriptures has brought me so much closer to God. Also, I had to seek tech support due to a loading issue and I couldn’t have hand selected better service. Jesse & Liz were so helpful. They fixed the problem and were so kind & compassionate, you would’ve thought we were friends!! I can not thank them enough!! Love and kindness goes a long way..
