My new morning routine!
I can’t speak highly enough about this app. I’m someone who, despite spending the entirety of my education (from preschool to my masters degree) in religious institutions, has never been very connected to my faith. Recently, I’ve wanted to rekindle that connection but didn’t know where or how to start and wanted something that offered a modern perspective that I could vibe with without feeling like I was being smacked over the head with my bible. This app is the perfect combination of mindfulness, faith, meditation, reflection, history lesson, bible study, and beautiful graphics. I love that there are series to follow and that it moderates your consumption with one post a day and it’s the perfect start to my mornings! It is very much worth the affordable price tag and I’m so happy with the value it’s brought to my life. Love this! Got me through some tough times!
I grew up going to CCD and going to a Catholic high school. I loved it but over the years I started to lose my faith due to the strict “by the book” unrealistic practices and money hungriness of the church. Enter The Practice Co. where Liz and Jesse provide you with the real root of what it’s all about...faith and love. I look forward to each daily devotional as they are relevant and realistic. The dissect the Bible for its true meanings not in the literal sense that you’d get in some churches (at least the ones I grew up with). The Practice Co. really is inspirational and truly got me through some tough times as silly as that may sound. But the devotionals are powerful and relatable and get you to really think. Soul food
I have been following Lizzie and Jesse’s The Practice for a couple of years now and have been blessed and at times challenged to pause, think, and sometimes re-think on how I perceive life, myself and faith. Having been a person of faith for over 40 years, have done Bible College, ministry, counselling and crashed and burned, you crave authenticity and this app has it in spade fulls. I love too the quotes used from different authors from different backgrounds and faiths. The Practice endeavours to stimulate a compassion for ourselves and others. It’s wholistic in its approach to spirituality and that’s why I love the devotions. Thank you Lizzie! And thanks Jesse for being an awesome administrator!Show lessSamethini
My favorite app
Raised in a Christian home, I have seen countless devotionals and takes on interpreting/interacting with scripture. In my personal opinion, they did not quite resonate with me and I lost hope in devotionals. But the Practice Co devotionals are relatable, current, and not overly optimistic/preachy. It has saved my faith honestly. I look forward to peering into what Liz or guest authors have to say & how they tie scripture in. I even read them aloud daily with my family. Thank you, Liz and Jesse, for this fantastic app! P.S. Great devotional.
I love this app. The series are, for me, just a great connect between traditional church and how life seems to be playing out these days in the 21st century. I trust the teaching because I know the depth to which it has been studied by Liz. It’s challenging, compelling and lovely all at the same time. Thanks you guys. In addition to that, the support you get whenever there’s an issue is second to none. Response time is phenomenal. The other thing I love is interacting on IG. Liz and Jesse are so lovely. These devotions are great. In fact I was gutted when after an update I could load them but a quick Facebook message to Jesse and Liz and it got sorted. Great writing, lovely looking app.
I have been getting a lot out of the app since I discovered it back in September. I love the downloadable lock-screen artwork and I find myself sharing the content with friends and on Instagram. Really good.

Problem solved!
I recently experienced difficulties with the app following the last upgrade of ‘pocket fuel’.
I emailed expecting to hear from someone in 2-3 days, Jesse emailed me personally (from the other side of the world, I might add!!) within half an hour. We exchanged messages, where he helped me to solve the problem and within an hour everything was working well again.
