First time experience
Have to say we ordered 3 entrees and all were great the chicken club the chicken tenders and the 5 and 5 by far taste was better than chic fila and service was above and beyond I can say the wings were not “Pigeon” wings as people have stated wings were large and meaty owner dennis was pleasant and actually was doing every job in the building awesome experience if in the area give it a try will definitely be back

First Time at Slim Chickens
First time trying Slim Chickens. I’m at the new Main St location in Houston.
First off… the staff is incredible, I’m really really hoping this is the standard across all their locations cause it is top notch. Extremely helpful with the menu. Trevor was constantly walking around and making sure all the guests were being helped, he even assisted in helping download the app.
Food came out hot and fresh. Got to try 3 different dipping sauces and will be back til I get to try them all.

Loved the Shake
This had to be one of the best shakes I have ever had. Loved the chicken. The Chicken sandwich was ok but has stiff competition with some of the other franchises. My biggest complain is the App. I tried over and over to place an order and finally just gave up and did the drive through. Lastly, it is pricey. This will not be a frequent stop on my budget.

Poor functionality
App asks for Apple Pay then when checking out proceeds to ask you to manually add another payment option which does not ask or queue up apple pay If you leave the app at all to check another app or a message when you come back the app has scaled to 3 times the width and you cannot see the entire right side of anything.
The only way to fix it is to close out completely and reopen which loses all current progress.
No where to enter payment information before ordering or to edit payment information after ordering.
After selecting a location it does not remember that location as your dedicated place to order so you have to reselect every-time you are in the app.
The food here is awesome but the developers need to put some serious work into the application.
Also the menu items and shaken spices are not all here. The menu needs to be updated and modifications are also not all here.

My new favorite chicken place
A location just opened down the street so I had to try it out. The chicken tenders were fresh and delicious. I loved how there were so many sauces to choose from. I get to pick depending on my mood that order. The skinny fries were perfect and the Texas toast was a nice touch. I am definitely going to keep coming back!!

I usually go to the one base. And the macaroni was warm the chicken was warm not like the one I usually get on base everything is always hot. According to your advertisement it says every meal cook fresh right when you order I don’t think mine was. I’m comparing to every time I’ve eaten yet at the other restaurant on the military base.
I asked for one extra sauce and they charge me for two. The manager or someone told me it was a glitch but then I add it up and they did charge me extra. I spoke to somebody and they said oh yeah they did charge you for 2 sauces and then didn’t do anything to offer me a discount or refund on the extra charge.

Scanning barcodes of receipts does not work
The app in general is pretty good. I mainly use it to scan my receipts to earn points, but the ability to scan the barcode on my receipts has not worked for over a YEAR. The line that “scans” it just goes up and down for however long you keep it on that screen. I’ve had to manually enter in the number and if the location’s receipt printer is low on ink and misses a number then you’re straight out of luck. I thought they would have fixed this by now, yet it remains a major issue.

First come, First serve
Upon entering the always made fresh cooked to order SlimChickens restaurant, I was immediately engulfed by the smell of sweet savory barbecue buffalo and cheesecake. Unbeknownst to me, all three were available at this location because it was my first time visiting and I enjoyed every minute of it from the opening act of the wonderful cashier who on the receipt was listed as Kyle, but she did not look like a Kyle. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Slims is literally my favorite place to eat!
Slims salad I’m sure I have eaten over a hundred of them🥴
Little tip though the system that provides a places for curbside pick up and the keyboard for the spot number should be a numerical key pad rather than alphabetical text. It’s a simple coding change and would make the app seamless.
Again love the food and need your ranch dressing recipe😩

Chicken and waffles went wrong
My food was deliciousness as normal!!! Unfortunately today with chickens and waffles being $5.99 the store was extremely busy. It also appeared the store was understaffed because it took over 45 minutes to get a chicken wrap and eight wings. I don’t blame the individual employees as they were obviously slammed in every aspect. I just wonder why the management did not step up And either call in more help or stay past there hours to pick up the slack. I will be back because I love the food I hope the store improves its ability to staff properly for specials.
