Utter rubbish
I have the A119 mini 2, it’s a great dashcam let down by this rubbish app. Pairing at first was very frustrating, you need to turn off your home network or car Wi-Fi as this prevents the viofo pairing. Once it is paired it keeps crashing and locking up the camera with a non stop beep. If it doesn’t crash it will time out before any settings are sent and if by chance a setting is sent to the camera it doesn’t save it. I cannot tell you how frustrating this app is!Show lessDavz

Camera does not have an LCD, without live streaming this is a very expensive door stop.

A139Pro 2-Channel is a Great Dash Cam but the Viofo App destroys any goodwill
I had a new Viofo A139 Pro 2-Channel professionally installed in my Mini Cooper a couple of days ago, and I can say the camera itself is a great piece of equipment. But then I downloaded the Viofo App so I could control the system, and download video with GPS/Speed data when needed. All I can say is the Viofo App is a piece of unadulterated garbage. First I had to go on-line and research as to why I couldn’t see the current recording in progress in the app. It showed a black screen but gave me the Time/Date/GPS data. Took a while but determined that you need to got into “Settings-Cellular”-then scroll down to the Viofo App and shut down cellular data. That will clean up the no video problem. (Several people listed turning on “Airplane Mode” which basically does the same thing.) After fixing that problem I am now researching why I can see the GPS map below the video – still haven’t been able to fix that problem and it doesn’t appear there is a fix. This would have been a 5-Star purchase but for the garbage software. Was planning on getting the same system for my wife’s Mini, but now I think I’ll research other camera systems that have a better app.Show lessRBarrH
App works fine
Not sure why all the negative reviews. My app works fine, live feed works, can adjust settings, download videos, scrub them, etc. Download is a bit slow but that's my only complaint. Wi-Fi connects fast. If I had to improve something, it'd be auto-stop recording once you click the recordings list, instead of just giving you a notification. Maybe option to organize the video clips by date.
Otherwise if works just fine for me with A129 plus duo.Show lessAndorem
USELESS
I have not been able to view any videos nor adjust settings to my Camera SINCE I BOUGHT IT!!! and I've had this Camera for a Year! - I was recently in an accident, and the only way I was able to provide evidence to the Police was because I was carrying an SD CARD to insert the Micro Card in and the Police Officer was able to view the videos in her Laptop. IF I would have relied solely on this App completely, there would have been no way to share the evidence against the other Driver.
YOU, DEVELOPERS NEED TO FIX THIS! And it is not that I had no signal, I was in a 5G area and had Wifi available and still the App has not detected my camera, nor ever!! (EVEN AFTER FOLLOWING OVER 100 times the App instructions).

Worst app I’ve ever encountered
Does not work , it installs but won’t connect to Wi-Fi waisted Hrs trying to sort this out , now I have to program the unit from its menu on screen , just cannot get it to work , I’ve reset it uninstalled app umpteen times can’t be bothered no more will just use it as a standalone camera like I’ve used my older one for the last 8 years & remove the memory card & view in on the PC just can’t be doing with this time consuming crap .Show lessrichie674
Great Quality for the Price!
First off, I have absolutely NO idea how this app has a poor rating on the App Store! 5G WiFi connection allows you to download clips much faster. The only downside I see is that the camera doesn’t automatically stop recording once you connect to your phone. Also, the live feed doesn’t work but that doesn’t matter. Overall, great quality for the price you pay for the camera and free app.Show lessJartrain
