The recent update makes the app more difficult to read
The font is now too small for older people who have less than perfect eyesight to read. Please allow the user to be able to adjust the font size.
Also, there should be a way of knowing the date of the most recent app update.Eastmanweb
Better Connectivity
With the updated app that offers performance mode you don’t have to be on your WiFi or have a home hub to control the devices when you’re away. Also like the fresh look of the new interface.helppleaz.
Nice when it works.
I use the VOCOlinc app to control my PM2 powerstrip. The app isn't hard to use, and it can be very handy. My only problem is that for the past 18 months it loses connectivity with Google Assistant, Alexa and Apple Home kit apps. Unfortunately it also frequently loses connectivity with the VOCOlinc app.
Since it's a lot of trouble to reset the powerUnpin. This is pretty frustrating. I wanted to like the powerstrip and app because of their features, and the build quality of the powers.

Best HomeKit products
I love every VOCOlinc product I have bought so far.
I have their color light bulbs throughout my whole house, their door locks, light strips, power strips, door and window sensors, and humidifiers.
I wish they made security cameras and video doorbells, and thermostats, because I would buy them all.Show lessORHobbes
What an improvement!
The design refresh is excellent. I also appreciate only seeing the new devices page once and being able to go back to see it later if I want. Only thing that could make it better is to see other HomeKit devices in the app, not just VOCOlinc.kevinjohncutler

Okay... so I have like 50 smart devices from varying brands, and VOCOlinc sensors are one of the few devices that I never even think about. They do what they’re supposed to do. Period. Other brands lose connection, fail to trigger automations, etc... These sensors were

breeze to set up - good value so far
I ordered the door sensor from Amazon having done plenty research on the best sensors, the app was available on Mac which is a big bonus for me given I manage my homekit from their.
Once downloaded it gave me two options so I selected the first to connect with homekit, within seconds it had migrated all my rooms and specifcally the one I had set up using homekit for this sensor.
I will update this review in a few days of using should it change but so far definetely 5 starShow lessScotdevil
New updates to the app
It’s nice that the app has been updated so I can easily see the VOCOLinc items. However, many of the screens where I am trying to troubleshoot problems, don’t give the name that I gave to the SmartBars, so it’s hard to see which one I am trying to resolve.
P.S. everything was working great until about the first week of December. Now none of my VOCOLinc devices will stay connected. Not sure what happened that made 6 months of great performance go down hill so quickly.Show lessWmH2

Totally unreliable they need resetting every 3 months and if you get two you can’t get the colours to balanceall??
Does not work in landscape mode on iPad!
Please can you update your app like the other smart home companies have.Britweezie
