  • AMAZING! AND FREE

All of the other nana apps make you pay but this one doesn’t! It walks you step by step on how to right it and memorize it! Seriously get it I love it (^ω^)! Also it teaches you how to say it!
  • Learn Japanese

Just downloaded this app. So far so good. I don’t mind the commercials as they are in Japanese and I can learn a word or two from it.
  • Best app for learning kana

This is the best all I’ve found for learning hiragana and katakana fast and efficiently.

I tried a bunch - wish I’d found this earlier!
  • Theres not alot of reviews but the most useful japanese app i use

Very useful has many other languages like korean , thai , greek and more!!!!!
  • Very helpful

This app helps a lot for memorization. It would be neat to have one big overall quiz of all the hiragana/katakana added.
  • really good :))

the app is really helpful and shows you the stroke order as well as quizzing you on the sounds they make really recommend for people trying to learn hiragana and katakana 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
  • Good basic app

It would be nice if there was a random shuffle option, so the full set of characters can be tested in random order.
  • learning a breeze

ive tried other apps to learn kana and it takes me longer. with this app ur always writing in the correct direction and learning how to pronounce the vowels at the same time so it BURNS into ur memory and helps muscle memory as well.
  • The only reason I've been able to learn kana

Great app, super useful, responsive and fun. A lot of leeway is given with how the strokes snap into place, good and bad.

I would prevent the first lesson page from jumping back up to the top of the list when exiting a lesson preview, and instead return to the spot in the list you were looking at. It always jumps back up when I'm searching through katakana groups.

For some reason the katakana test, when doing all studied kana, makes no distinction between ji as ジ or ji as ヂ when asked to draw that character.

I would love to see the same approach taken for kanji from this developer, at least JLPT N5 level or basic 2136 from the joyo table. Will 100% recommend to anyone else studying
