  • Useless!

I have been using this for years, and increasingly, it’s just not compatible with my phone. It’s gotten so bad that Apple support has repeatedly told me uninstall it and get rid of it. It doesn’t allow updating, even if you have the VPN turned off- it uses a non-concealing filter VPN as its threat detection mechanism, and Apple doesn’t want to work with it. It also doesn’t allow me to use the concealing VPN feature at all now if I’m on cellular data, for the past about 2 years. The identity theft/dark web protection app is useless, and really wants you to upgrade to an expensive service (which is likely still ineffective, if you do your tech research on dark web protection programs and companies that offer said services). Bonus- some of the private data selling companies that you’re suggested by Norton to opt out of demand you to send them a copy of your drivers license and more intimate identifiers just to supposedly opt out of being tracked for a month to few months!

Norton support is as always outsourced, clueless, and near useless to contact with tech issues or complaints. Their support is infamous.

    I’m uninstalling it all.

Hello, we are very sorry to hear about your inconvenience. Our app certainly offers update frequently (with or without VPN). Why would Apple not want to cooperate with our app? Could you please be more specific? We would certainly need further information regarding your issues to be able to help. David
  • Didn’t find or remove malware on my devices

I’ve had Norton 360 for years. I recently bought a new laptop and installed the program. I did several scans after I installed the program and Norton assured me It didn’t detect any malware. I kept getting redirected on the internet and finally took the new laptop in to my local tech shop. They found malware and bogus certificates on the computer that Norton said was fine. While my computer was in the shop, Norton charged me for my annual renewal. I was unable to cancel because I wasn’t using the internet. When I was finally able to call about the issue, I asked why their program didn’t find the malware and phony Microsoft certificates. The tech person said that you need to call them so they can help you set it up on a new laptop for the first time. They should include this information when you purchase the program but don’t. I asked for a refund since I’ve had to pay hundreds of dollars to get malware removed from my devices Norton was “protecting.” I’m still using it on some of my devices since they wouldn't give me a refund but I no longer trust Norton to detect anything since it completely failed to protect my laptop and home WiFi from malware and phony certificates.

  • Ad Version Downloading Automatically

The App Store has two versions of this app: one app states “Ads” and the other does not. Of course I do not want the ad version and do not want to be tracked so I never select the version that states “Ads”; however, anytime I download the app version that does not state “Ads” the download progress circle shows both versions being downloaded, while only one app shows on my iPhone. When I look at the device privacy report I see that Norton has contacted all of these various domains regarding my app activity. That is in direct conflict with what I want and with what privacy information Norton provides.

I also have a subscription with Avast and had a trial subscription with Surfshark and Bitdefender. All of these companies are doing the same thing; downloading the Ad version of the app along with the non add version. So, I am not using any of them, including the two that I have paid for (Norton and Avast)

If you can fix this issue please do so. I know Norton is a great product but I’ve been dealing with a cyber stalker for 15 months and do not want any app tracking my activity

  • SCAM! Do not download!!

I downloaded this app over a month ago to look into it and see how much it cost. I didn’t pay for a subscription. I clicked through the app to look into it and put in my name, number, and email. Decided I didn’t want to pay for it and deleted the app. Never subscribed to ANYTHING. since then I’ve gotten SEVERAL emails saying my subscription to Norton is being charged to my account. I was confused and called the help line. I talked to a guy who was VERY rude and filled out a form to cancel on a website he sent me to. It’s been over a month and I got another email saying 210$ is being charged to me for automatically renewing my account. I called the number provided from the app again to talk to the help line. (I’ve checked several times and nothing has been taken from my account) I tried explaining what happened and asking why it has been telling me I’m being charged. The worker Daniel was trying to get me to go online to fill out the same form again even though I’ve already done it. He has called me 17 times within the last 30 minutes. Has been texting me. And left me several messages FROM DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBERS!! Don’t download this app. The helpline does not help at all. All they’re trying to do is take your money. They’re a scam.

  • Doesn’t Protect Your iPhone

Truthfully, this app really doesn’t do much of anything to protect your iPhone. It’s WiFi security and device security options are fairly worthless — basically just telling you if you’re on an unsecured network or if your IOS is not up to date — things you can easily determine on your own. The SMS and secure calendar are present but don’t provide much value. The only beneficial feature is the internet security, however it has a HUGE drawback. The internet security feature will only work through a VPN connection AND will not operate as a VPN. If you have another VPN provider on your iPhone or you use Norton’s VPN (for an additional cost), you will not be able to run the VPN concurrently with the Internet Security feature. Basically, you are forced to choose between using a VPN and using the internet security feature. I swear by my VPN and I wish I knew that I would not be able to use it at the same time as internet security. Ultimately, the app is fine but for the hefty price they charge, they really don’t provide any real value if you already using a VPN provider.

Hey Sam, we believe that what you mention really is convenient and useful for the client - to always know whether the page you are browsing at is safe or is not. Regarding the VPN - this really sounds unusual - our VPN should cooperate with all the other Security features. If that isn't your case, we would really like to investigate it. • Not to helpful if you have a virus, still good. (got it for free tho) 😂

If your phone is infected with a virus there’s a high chance that this will do nothing because it’s a app and it works on a sandbox just like every other Apple Store app. (Which is the reason why you can’t get a virus from the Apple Store because it won’t be on your device). So if you click a link and get a virus somehow or by jailbreaking your phone which is the easiest way to get a virus then this won’t protect you at all and you need to hard restart your device because that virus will be on your main device while this antivirus will be in its own sandbox unable to do anything. But it does prevent you from getting to the point where you do get a virus because it detects malicious websites, texts and stuff like that. And also Norton is a very reliable antivirus brand and is very well-known so they wouldn’t steal any of your information. So it can be still worth it but if you do get a plan make sure you get a plan for your computer and phone because it works best on computer.

  • Uber impressive!!

This app is a good app, it has all the necessary features and it's useful to track my family's location and enable safety. Unfortunately, I wasn't really satisfied with its features as I have learnt that you can't control someone's faithfulness through an app. Being completely good yo them doesn't automatically translate that you'll be treated the same way. I had been married to my ex-wife for four years with a daughter together and I had no idea she was cheating. I suddenly started observing changes in her behaviour and the way she held her phone so closely. I had to speak with a friend at work who convinced and gave me a genuine recommendation about a 'top of the line' ethical private investigator named Kelvin. I contacted him through Cipherbyte001 @ gmail com and explained my plight in details. I provided all information requested and we agreed on a fee. Not later than 3 hours, he was able to access my ex-wife call conversation, imessages, WhatsApp, Emails, texts, retrieve hidden files and documents and even her GPS location. It seemed as though my life spun out of control when I found out she had someone else. I felt used but fulfilled that I finally found out the truth. I could not continue with lies and deceit so I filed for a divorce. I'm thankful to kelvin for helping me out of my suspicions. He's been hugely helpful and his services were satisfactory.

  • Wasted $100 -terrible customer service

Purchased a plan on each one of 2 phones $49 each. Paid through apple app store. Upon set up, the app offers the option to use a different email to set up account (different from apple ID). I did so and the account will not link the payment to this account. Didn’t notice right away because this is only required for specific features so during the trial I thought it was good to go. When I noticed I called costumer service, spent almost 45 mins on the phone with someone who had no idea how to fix the issue. I would love to speak to someone who would be able link the payments to the accounts but otherwise having my money back would be fair as I am not getting the service I paid for. I’m a a loss bc customer service was no help and they refused to escalate to someone else who may be able to better assist-(actually made it worse by telling me to uninstall/reinstall the app and now NO features work). If you plan to purchase, go for the cheaper option and make sure ALL the features are available and that you are signed in.

  • Found him really helpful!!

We all got different intents coming here to read for an app to track our partner or friends so it’s advisable to know the truth and not fall prey to evil ones. I have been in a long distance marriage because of the nature of my job, my husband cheated on me times without number but since I wasn’t around to get him caught red handed in the act, I decided to hack his cell phone to get all the data activities on his device. I got in contact with this hacker Steve through the head of the IT department in my workplace. After a long search on here i came across this same hacker recommended to me on the internet this guy is the best in the game right now. I got in contact with him at (ELITEHACKERS247@ GMAIL COM)we made a deal and I paid him, his service is very affordable. I doubted the services at first but what I felt impossible became possible within 3hours, I got access to my husband phone activities, I don’t know how he did it but it looked like a magic cause it was as if I had the phone in my palms. I got access to his location, Snapchat messages and videos, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, call logs, video chat, text messages etc all in one swipe. I’m happy I got to discover the truth, knowing is better than self doubt. He is definitely the real deal, do not hesitate to reach out to him at ( ELITEHACKERS247 @ GMAIL COM ) for a perfect, quality and satisfactory spying and investigator services.

  • Impressive delivery ❤️

I rarely write reviews, but I had to for this! Because I tried several apps with no luck. Back then I was very confused, mad and always felt awful with my partner’s cheating attitude. I really wanted to track and catch him red-handed. I downloaded this app hoping it will help with it but I wasn’t satisfied with its features as I needed to monitor my partner closely. Luckily I came across a genuine recommendation review on this app about an ethical private investigator named Steve, he’s a head of a team of hackers I wrote to his email at (ELITEHACKS247 @ GMAIL COM) explaining how I wanted to have a complete access to my partner’s call log, iMessages,SMS, social media activities, gallery, text deleted or not, his precise location day out. I paid for his service and in about 3-4hrs I had a complete access to his phone, I was really amazed I got a concrete evidence. It was unbelievable seen the evidence of cheating on me. Who like to live with a cheater, I used the evidence I got to file for divorce. I’m thankful to Steve for helping me out of my dilemma and suspicions. His services are highly rated and affordable. If you are having trust issues and need valid evidence, or any hacking or tracking service how about you contact Steve for the incredible services you rendered. I recommend your service Steve you’re simply the best in the game.
