Synchrony is a predatory lender!
I started an Airbnb business about a year ago. When I did this I received great interest rates at the time of purchase. After I made my purchases Synchrony closed all but 1 account with no notification. They immediately reported this to the credit bureau and upon my inspection they said my credit score had dropped a there for they closed my account. This was not due to any past or late payments with them… I had none. Now once they did this, they also deleted my online banking account via this app. So when I try to sign in… I can’t because I don’t have any open accounts…. Even tho I do but it’s via an affiliate. Overall this company is terrible and I’ve had their employees flat out tell me on the phone not to do business with them. So if you’re on the fence about them or Uplift or Affirm for your monthly payments… go with Uplift or Affirm. They are a modern company that is at least transparent with how they do business. I’m already in the process of filing a complaint with the BBB.

Constant login issues with synchrony
Used to be that it was near impossible to login to my account via the app giving me an error of we are having issue please try again later, but I could log into the website via another accounts login page (directly logging into my account from the website also kinda didn’t work) eventually I was able to login to my account on the website fine, still no app, now I’m only able to login to my account via the app now and trying to login via the website just gives me errors saying we can’t pull up your account try again later. If you want to get your money back you have to make sure your customers can actually login to their accounts to pay their bills. Get it together and fix these major problems

Crap company
Warning ‼️ They don’t care about there clients. I had a $4,000 line of credit with them for years. I’ve purchased all kinds of lawn equipment over the years and always made the payments on time or early and extra payments. Had a zero balance for months and months. Used my card to purchase a chainsaw after a hurricane hit and needed to cut up some trees. Cost was like $250 for the saw giving me a $35 dollar payment. Went to make first payment and my account was closed by them and there excuse was it’s based on my credit score at the time. Another words I was treated like a number and that’s completely unacceptable. Just dump a good paying client based on something that has nothing to do with my relationship with synchrony. Don’t give them your money or business.
