  • Constant login issues with synchrony

    Used to be that it was near impossible to login to my account via the app giving me an error of we are having issue please try again later, but I could log into the website via another accounts login page (directly logging into my account from the website also kinda didn’t work) eventually I was able to login to my account on the website fine, still no app, now I’m only able to login to my account via the app now and trying to login via the website just gives me errors saying we can’t pull up your account try again later. If you want to get your money back you have to make sure your customers can actually login to their accounts to pay their bills. Get it together and fix these major problems

  • Crap company

    Warning ‼️ They don’t care about there clients. I had a $4,000 line of credit with them for years. I’ve purchased all kinds of lawn equipment over the years and always made the payments on time or early and extra payments. Had a zero balance for months and months. Used my card to purchase a chainsaw after a hurricane hit and needed to cut up some trees. Cost was like $250 for the saw giving me a $35 dollar payment. Went to make first payment and my account was closed by them and there excuse was it’s based on my credit score at the time. Another words I was treated like a number and that’s completely unacceptable. Just dump a good paying client based on something that has nothing to do with my relationship with synchrony. Don’t give them your money or business.

  • Will Not Run Older Version, Will Not Update Either

    App says please update to iOS 16. Until then I can use an older version of the app..but it doesn’t let me. It redirects again to needing to update my iPhone, in a vicious circle.
    My phone says I’m up to date on iOS 15. I cannot update my iPhone.
    I cannot update my iPhone therefore I cannot update the app therefore I can’t use the app!
    Biggest pet peeve is trying to use the web browser is a nice work around but can’t download statements because “I need to disable pop up blockers”. I tried in 2 different browsers and disabled all I could and ran in desktop mode and everything and I STILL CANNOT download a statement.
    I will literally pay off my cards and never use them again since the programs to pay my balances are being so difficult.

  • Rooms to go

    I have tried to dispute an amount on my account finance by synchrony bank. Every single time they tell me to see in proof of the amount of over charge have done that and neither synchrony bank nor rooms to go will acknowledge their wrong doing. They are a bunch of thieves. Been a long long time customer with them. I have a lot of accounts with them and have paid them on time and paid them off. Guess I will have to wreck my credit for $400. Or less but my money comes hard as a lot of people I know and I refuse to pay for something I didn’t receive. Big banks just love to screw the working man. Too bad they have a monopoly the finance almost every business these days.

  • The app doesn’t do anything.

    I manage all my Synchrony accounts online - through Safari browser. I’ve tried using this app several times over the years and it has never worked.
    When I try to login, it says info doesn’t match, but same info logs me in through Safari just fine. Now, after a couple of attempts, it opens a Get Help Signing In page, with a Find My Account button. I click that and it opens Safari, I log into my account on Safari. Everything works… except I am still using Safari! Doing this has no affect with the app and the app still isn’t working.
    Unless that is the point - does the app just launch the site on Safari? That seems to be pointless. What bother having an app at all?
    So this app is either irrelevant or horrible in design. Either way, it has been a total waste of my energy!

  • Broken app that is inconvenient.

    I’ve had a Lowe’s card through this company for about a year or so. I’ve paid it off every month and had no issues with the credit side of things so I have no reason to criticize that portion.
    What I will criticize is the app here. It’s broken, plain and simple. Try to login with the opening prompt and it won’t recognize your credentials. Go to the help section to give other personal info to verify it’s you and it will still say that it doesn’t recognize you. Then it prompts you to their website where, once you’re off the app, suddenly it can become useful enough to let you access your account after several more prompts to find out which type of card you have with Synchrony.

    Please save yourself the trouble and only use the browser version of this site to access your accounts. This is the opposite of convenient and defeats the purpose of having an app to access your account.

  • The WORST

    The Worst banking app I’ve EVER used there’s so many glitches in the app I made a 13$ payment on the DAY I got paid, 11 days before my due date which is on febuary 13th, now it’s February 21st & the app still is saying I DIDN’T MAKE A PAYMENT, now my credit has dropped & they added on a late fee & I still have yet to talk to a manager cause their customer service department is almost non-existent. And a HUGE portion of the customer service Representatives barely speak any legible English, then a representative that went by sam was VERY rude when I kept asking him “Can you repeat that” CAUSE I CAN’T EVEN UNDERSTAND A WORD YOU’RE SAYING!!! pronunciate better or maybe the English customer service field isn’t for you. I’m going to finish paying the card off & never look back at this bank it’s a nightmare.

  • App and web site needs major overhaul

    Like some of the other reviews I too can’t access all my accounts possible due to different log in/passwords. “Chat” feature is poor-spent 20 mins only to be connected to a supervisor who gave me a “dedicated” phone number to merge all accounts under one log in. The rep indicated “he wasn’t trained” to do this. Was told each account has to be notified separately - I have six. Too cumbersome. Very poor service. Offer the user a way to merge ALL accounts under one log in-verify user by dob, phone, last four of social. They can’t or won’t. I’m paying off the accounts and won’t use. If and when they fix viewing all account one log in I will gladly change my rating. Terrible customer service.

  • Exceptional way to retrieve your lost or stolen crypto assets

    I was impatient to carry out necessary research but I really wanted to jump on the crypto trading and investment buzz. Unfortunately for me, I invested 75,700 GBP worth of bitcoin with a fraudulent company. I was happy to watch my account grow to 214,575 GBP within a couple of weeks. But I didn't realize I was dealing with a scam company, until I tried to make an attempt to withdraw. I made a withdrawal request, and noticed my account was suddenly blocked for no apparent reason. I tried contacting customer support, but all to no avail. I needed my money back at all cost, because I could not afford to let it go. So I tried all possible means to make sure I recovered my scammed bitcoin. I did a lot of online search for help, and tried to see if there were other people who had any similar experience. I stumbled upon a cryptocurrency forum were a couple of people mentioned that they had been through the same process but were able to recover their lost cryptography funds with the help of RemotePundit So I file a report on RemotePundit via Gmail and he was able to help me get back all my lost funds withing 2 weeks I feel indebted to him. Apart from trying to express my gratitude to them once again using this medium, I will recommend anybody who wants to recover scammed bitcoin, stolen cryptocurrency, funds lost to binary options forex, investment and any other form of online scam to reach out to RemotePundit (at) gmail

  • Since recent update, app works

    I have always had good results out of the app for what I need. Just to pay on my card. No problems. Until the past month. It crashed throwing up error & I couldn’t sign in to pay on my payment so I had to sign in on the website to pay it. I was signing in with correct info. Website worked fine. In the past week they have finally provided update. It was still not working tonight until I updated the app. So with the newest update they have fixed the bugs that was causing the sign in not to work. Thank you for addressing that.
