Dont expect any courtesy, they treat runners worse than their support staff
As a freelance delivery driver, you experience quite a few technical difficulties on a daily basis. A driver support staff is crucial to ensuring driver satisfaction, and frankly that support does not exist at Favor, at least in my experience. They offer no solace for victims of identity theft, and instead "drop their gates" so to speak (im assuming to protect their own assets) In any case, this company is seriously underdeveloped. Keith Duncan focuses on nothing but selfish revenue (I realize this is a bold claim do your research if you dont believe me). Daniel Guzman is undereducated and tries to cover up his underperforming software with a sugar coat (kind of similar to Apple). I could honestly sit here and tell you about the long hours of waiting to hear back from support, and even longer hours wasted sitting in my car not earning a cent, but I understand those issues may differ on an individual basis. I can only warn a new favor runner to be cautious and more importantly, to not be pushed over by a company that seems a lot more sophisticated and tough than they actually are!

HEB on par with US capitalism.
In Houston, we are experiencing power outages. This results in merchants being closed. You recently made a change to the app where it kicks you out after declining a few orders in a row. With so many stores being closed, it kicks me out constantly. I also heard this puts me at the end of the Que for new orders. Why did you change this? As a contractor, we have the right to decline as many orders as we see fit until we get an order where a profit is possible. With the power outages being so bad, I decline 4-5 orders to accept one HEB fleet order. We are human beings. We need to make money to be able to keep driving for favor. But when you make changes like this, it’s clear that YOUR profits are the only thing that matters to HEB. Also, loading our own cars makes working for Favor even more of a hassle. Why so many changes? I see that last year HEB profited 43.6 billion dollars. Up 5 billion from the previous year. So why can’t you afford to pay your workers and drivers better? I thought Texas corporations actually cared, but apparently I was wrong.

Favor Runner 🏃♀️ 🚙
Hi beautiful people in Texas I’m currently a Favor runner in Austin Texas & I absolutely adore favor. The map is amazing you can work many different zones if you choose to or work in your local area 😁for example if you’re working in northwest hills it’s not going to give you an order for DFW or further. Sometimes you have to place an order & pay for the order however I like to order my amazing customers food when I get to the restaurant that way it’s not sitting on the pick up table for long, if my customers food is warm to cool I ask politely ask the restaurant can they remake the order. I also love ❤️ the fact that after you do all of the amazing paperwork you can go to H‑E‑B to pickup the runner 🏃♀️ card to pay for your customers orders 🤫🤫🤫another amazing part of working with the favor family is you can pick up H‑E‑B orders at the curbside location & the amazing people at H‑E‑B will bring it out to your car 😏WAIT THERE IS MORE 🤭FAVOR takes about 3 days to verify your instant pay information 🤣😊While you’re waiting for that you can run favor request.
Thank you favor customers for being amazing see you on the run 🏃♀️

Decent when you need extra income
I’ve been running favors for a while in between jobs or when I want to save a little extra money. The app is pretty user friendly. Personally, I’d like to be able to see the bonus schedule while logged in to run because at this point you can only view it when you aren’t logged in.
I’d also like if promos were a bit better. Like I’ve mentioned, I’ve been running on and off for years and the promos this year so far have been pretty terrible. Like run 11 favors before 4pm for $100? That isn’t a promotion, that’s not a promotion, that’s how much you’d average if you were to run 11 at the average $8/hr and you have to start running at 6am when they open to get 11 by 4 if you’re lucky to get that many because there are definitely times I sit waiting for an hour just to get one. I remember promos being really great which is why I’ve never signed up with any other delivery apps—once it was like 60 favors in a week for $1k. THATS a promo.

Favor Runner App.
Sunday February 11,2024
I enjoy the app for the most part. When things aren’t working and I’m not getting orders or I’m having a problem with an order surprisingly enough deleting the app and reinstall it usually fixes it. I didn’t know that at first though. The only thing I would do it to improve is to have some hours in the day where you can call even it’s just a few hours and speak with someone if you really need to there’s been a couple occasions I would’ve appreciated that but I understand that’s you know, man, our money, and everything to have someone just sit there and answer, it helps me earn money. And that’s something I really need right now, so yeah I’m very happy with it. If I had to take the time to go get a place it takes so much longer just to get hired. You know it takes long time nowadays. But I do like working normal job because you know your schedule, but this is nice too because you can sort of make your schedule although I do work each day for breakfast and lunchtime and dinner time I do fine sometimes it’s just busy when it’s not lunch or dinner and or breakfast. But, I try to just do the long-haul anytime I have any day to go do it I do it

Barely get paid anything at all.
No matter what, you only get $2 from Favor for every run. They refuse to pay you anything more. And then you get an automatic $2 Tip from the customer. That’s all you’re guaranteed each delivery. $2 from Favor and $2 from the customer. If the customer feels like it, they MIGHT tip you a few more dollars.. but usually they don’t and if they do they only tip $2 more. So the total you’d get from a delivery that takes 25-30 minutes is $6, if you’re lucky. Barely covers your gas. And every delivery takes so long because you have to go into every restaurant, then you place the order, pay for it, then wait for it to get ready. It’s just ridiculous… this is the worst delivery app I’ve ever used and the people that own this service are the greediest money hungry people that don’t want to share any bit of profit with the runner.. they talk all about helping and supporting the community, it’s all lies. They aren’t doing anything but taking advantage of cheap labor and the use of others vehicles for them to make money… stay away from this app..

Not worth it
This business is very poorly managed. This is a update from my previous review as my account has been suspended and funds withheld. Don’t waste your time, gas, or energy. Favor is a lot of false advertisement. You never know when your money will be in your account if you wait for weekly deposit (anytime from Monday to Wednesday) Deposits take all day to show up on Tuesday’s for the guarantees. They also advertise promos, Anywhere from 5-12 favors for the day for a certain amount. You can run 4-10 favors and they literally won’t send the last 1 or 2. There’s really no one to speak to in person which isn’t very helpful when it comes to your money. I drove to the Austin clubhouse and it’s not even open anymore. Overall favor needs drivers to complete their work. They’re not really compensating people to deliver food and groceries in their personal cars, through traffic and all types of weather. They should do better, I’m sure the company is monopolizing delivery and cashing out because drivers are not being paid enough.

Mostly Functions okay. Room for improvement.
This review is for the app, as it is supposed to be. It’s relatively stable lately. Most issues seem to occur due to cellular connectivity problems. It seems like some of that could be addressed with some app improvement perhaps.
Notable issues: when Runner is not in the foreground, the notification for orders isn’t audible. People may miss opportunities if they have to wait for the text that arrives 15 seconds prior to an offer reassigning itself.
Still has a very hard time loading earnings within the app. Usually takes 3-10 tries. This has been a problem since the beginning.
The latest versions don’t make clear that a double offer is pending. And you have to accept one to see the second. The chime is not differentiated, as in previous versions. This can make a difference in decision making…
The new offer screen makes it more difficult to quickly ascertain the pickup address. Perhaps the pickup address could be added in text form next to the drop off address.
The new offer screen does not show the customer name. This is a big deal for many OG Runners who have favorite regular customers who we may go a lot further to accommodate.
Thanks in advance for any consideration.

HONEST OPINION
It’s not recommended to do any runs unless It actually says it's busy, otherwise you’re working for nothing because that money you end up making just goes back for gas & sometimes it’s not enough to cover for a full tank. Even with the promos. (Coming from someone who only needs $20 for full tank) what they don’t realize is the amount of miles we travel from order to order. Not just that but also the time. You’ll most likely spend an hour doing each favor, even if it’s just for 3 items. 1- you have to drive back from your previous order to where you’re picking up the new one which could be a 20+min drive. 2- you have to wait for the order to be brought out to you & when it’s busy you could be waiting another 20min. 3- the travel to their home which can be another 20+min. Not just that but there’s other things that go into it. Sometimes you have to contact them because the restaurant doesn’t have their food or they don’t have the item in stock & you have to wait more time for the customer to reply. If at the end you have no other option but to cancel you because you couldn’t get in contact with them you DONT GET ANYTHING. & to top it off you could have 100+ items for them & the drive is a more than 20mins away & they live in apartments & in the second floor! they still tip you only $8 & some change for an order that took a lot of time & a lot of travel…. NOT WORTH IT unless it shows it’s busy!

Promos are the only thing saving favor.
The only reason I have not deleted this app yet is the promos the driving distance and wait times are really bad compared to how much you earn the favor pay per miles is way too low and the customer tips are hit or miss you may get an order that is 5 miles and get a 10 dollar tip or you may get an order that is 15 miles and get a 2 dollar tip so favor needs to guarantee better pay on average my orders come in at about 9 to 10 miles each and pay about 8 dollars an order with tip the promos make it about a dollar per order maybe better if your lucky I typically only do shopping orders or groceries delivery because puting in orders then waiting is a waste of time you could drive for any other delivery service and not have to wait near the time you have to with favor. I like that it’s local but they need to step it up on pay if they want to compete with the other big companies out there. Or they need to figure out how to expedite H‑E‑B deliveries being brought to drivers cars like special parking spots for favor at H‑E‑B so they are faster I’ve waited upwards of an. Hour just to get groceries put in my car so I could make 8 dollars driving 10 miles so basically a net loss compared to other companies it’s not worth it but again I like local and the promotions help but after I complete the promo I stop driving it’s not worth it after the guarantee. I made less than minimum wage during the week with no promos.
