  • New App is AWFUL!

I have an Inspire bike. I bought it because the app had a function that I could measure my cadence and effort level wirelessly. Once they came out with the new version of this app I no longer have this function. I’ve reached out to app support weeks ago and still have not received a response. Classes are limited for indoor cycling in my view. I will not be renewing my membership. It’s too bad. They really need to work on this app.

  • Terrible

I’ve had this app and the ic1 bike for over a year and the app has always been annoying and glitchy but now its just abysmal. The bike often won’t connect, and yes its “charged.” But the worst part is whatever the new update did. I can’t see any metrics for my bike, so I just have to ride it blind!! I am paying $9.99 a month. FIX YOUR APP! Literally when I do a quickstart, I have a blank screen with a timer, play/pause and a start button. I wish I had never bought this bike.

  • Version 5.3- Stats not working

Downloaded it this morning and the stats for the bike didn’t work tonight. Just stayed at zero. It worked fine yesterday before the update. It shows the Bluetooth is connected on the App. Using iPad Air2 and IOS 15.0.2. Otherwise it works great. I like the full screen video with the time in the lower left and the ability to hide stats in upper right.

    Developer Response

Hi, We are working to improve the calculations, and apologize for the metric errors, and full screen issues. thanks and take care,
  • Absolutely Terrible!

Have had the IC 1.5 cycle and app for about 10 months. Worked great until the latest update 5.2. When communicating with customer service / tech support for Inspire Fitness / Sunset Swings and telling them that the cycle was basically useless without the app, the response (Hector) was - “You can still use the bike without the app. It works perfectly fine without the app. The app just allows you to view the stats and videos.” Replied - What is the point if having an exercise bike with 0 stats? The response - “I’m not sure. I’m just informing you that the bike can still be used with out the stats. The bike pedals and gets resistance without the app.” My guess is he (Hector) thought I couldn’t figure that out! So if you are looking to spend between $600 and $1,000 for a cycle without stats and videos then Inspire Fitness is the way to go!

  • Horrible app

Very happy with the fitness bike, but the app is one of the worst fitness apps I have ever utilized. I have had multiple problems with login and resetting my password. Was unable to ride the bike for several days d/t the app not functioning probably. Of course this happened over the weekend. The error message stated to contact support, however, no support available over the weekend. I have an active account. Selected contact inspire & the app would not even allow me to type. Very frustrating. I am having buyers remorse concerning this purchase.

  • Airplay stopped working today

Airplay stopped working today in the latest update. Add this on top of an already terrible user interface, limited near useless search capabilities and workouts that are missing example videos for the Ft1 trainer. When the one year free trial runs out from my Costco purchase I’ll move on to peloton or another app and very likely return my machine.

  • Great bike, terrible App!

I really like my bike, works great and no issues. The app on the other hand is a different story. -It takes forever to connect to the Bluetooth! Sometimes it won’t even connect at all. -The class will pause mid-ride and in order to get it back and working I have to close out the app and fast forward to where I was. -Constantly logs me out - Stats will stop working mid ride as well, and once again I have to close out of the app entirely and find where I was. My free subscription I have when I purchased my bike is now up (didn’t get any notification about this either found out trying to do a class) and I won’t be purchasing the app. I love the classes and instructors (Tyler and Rachel are my favorite!) but with all the glitches it’s not worth to pay for it. I hope one day it will all be fixed!

  • Really…

Gotta love how you have a sign in button but not a sign up button so you can sign in 🤦🏻‍♂️
  • App subscription required

I understand providing an app to display speed and performance since they don’t provide a display on the bike. But it’s unfair to then charge subscription to use the app. Split out the training videos and charge for them but don’t turn my bike into landfill after one year. Appalling.
  • Hands down the worst app I’ve ever used.

I don’t know where to start other than I regret even buying the bike that requires the app. It constantly shuts off mid ride, it logs me out randomly and says my password is incorrect then works after 3 tries, if I switch to another app for a moment during a ride (text messages etc) it’ll just stop tracking my progress in the free-ride feature, every single update seems to make things worse? The actual distance tracker has changed since I’ve bought the bike. For about a year I was around 5 miles in 18 minutes and now I can do 8 miles in 15 minutes. I’d like to say it’s because I’ve gotten stronger but it literally happened overnight with a new update they pushed. The least of the issues but... the way they film their strength classes makes all the trainers look like they’re prisoners earning their freedom by creating workout videos. It’s not the trainers fault it’s Inspire’s poor/failing attempt at competing peloton that’s making it just seem sad. Your downloading this app because you probably bought the cheaper version of peloton bike (honestly, smart move) so there’s not much I can say other than good luck.
