Cant paste a phone number?

Why can’t I paste the phone number to add in a new guest? Or better yet look them up in my phonebook. Apparently I have to manually type in the phone number of someone I want to add.

What a joke of an app!

Unfortunately my apartment is using this app. Apparently only the main person on the lease can use the app. If my husband wants to use it he has to use MY information (which then unregisters app from my device) then when I want to go to the gym I have to unregister the app from HIS phone. Like WHAT?!?!?

Is this for real?!?

Thank you for your feedback. All unit occupants should be able to use the app from their own devices. Please talk to your property management office and have them add you in the system as an occupant or co-leaseholder. Once you have an account in the system, you should be able to register for the app.

Barely works

Very unstable. Doesn’t unlock doors even when standing right in front of it. Sending QR codes is also inconvenient as one needs to have first and last name. Also not possible
to cut and paste a phone number from address book/text message, you have to flip back and forth to consult number and rewrite, but flipping to a new app sometimes wipes the partially filled out field so you have to memorize the entire number.

Reminders Will Not Tturn OFF

Every time I open the app it asked me if I want to change my settings. I slept “Not Now” and then I select “Permanently Dismiss Reminders.” Yet it keeps asking me every time I open the app AGAIN if I want to change settings. Ugh! Please fix this bug.

Location Setting Popup Bug

I keep my phone in low power mode in order to have it last all day, so I’m fine manually opening the app to open a door. I’ve selected the permanently dismiss reminder regarding allowing access while not using the app every time I have opened the app, and find I have to go through two rounds of notifications in order to dismiss the notifications (that I have now permanently dismissed multiple times), in order to manually open the door.

Why offer the option to only let the app use location while using if I’m going to be bombarded with notifications that I have “permanently” dismissed??? Please fix this bug!

Still bad. Is there even a customer service team?

The app is still unstable. Will work for a few weeks and then decide it wants to stop working. You can email help if you like, but I doubt they will respond. How can this company let this go on like this. Not sure how they sell this to clients when they know it’s unstable.

New install

My apartment building just got Kastle after having absolutely no security. It’s already come in handy for opening the garage gate when I forgot my opener. Any chance we will get Siri Shortcuts to open the gate by voice when driving up?

Can’t lock my front door

It would be nice to be able to lock my door with this …not just open it…

Worst App EVER

Literally does NOT work and the support team doesn’t respond and then lies that they “never received your request”. This is even after forwarding the request they didn’t respond to. I wish there was an option to give ZERO stars bc one is too generous.

App breaks - you must take your FOB

The primary purpose of this app is to enable you to use it as a substitute for your fob. However, you must always carry your fob, because the app unexpectedly signs you out. To re-enter, there is no login, the app claims you must enter a pin sent to your email in 15 minutes, but the pin never appears, in your inbox, junk, or anywhere else. so in fact, you are left locked out of your building without a fob and without a functioning app. So, therefore, for an app that aims to replace your fob, you must always carry your fob. Utterly useless. This accounts for the overall rating of two stars. Frankly it should be one star.
