  • Obsessed with Obè

First the app itself. Love that I can access Obè wherever I can take my phone. The video quality has always been great when I streamed through the app.
What I use most in the app is reserving the live classes I want to do. I love that it gives me the option to add to my phone calendar. I use that for almost every class as a helpful reminder.
I started Obé 5 mths ago. I was a beginner. I pretty much step touched my way through my classes. The trainers are top notch and offer great modifications. They are all so much fun and having fun keeps me coming back day after day.
I’ve seen such a change in my strength. My ability and confidence in my self. My whole mind set (and my body) has been changed thanks to Obé.

  • Good start

This app is visually very appealing in that the classes all have a nice background. There are a variety of classes available - which is great bc I am a busy working mom and have trouble getting to a traditional boutique class/gym due to scheduling. However there are a number of annoying aspects of the app/service itself: 1- you cannot easily stream onto a tv. The service admittedly says this is better if you watch on a larger screen, however it is very difficult to connect to a tv. 2- the app crashes a lot. I have been using it for one day and it has crashed at least 4-5 times. 3- there are no descriptions of the classes so it is hard to figure out what to try. 4- Im not a fan of the music choices- however time will tell. I will do a full trial for the week before I make a final decision

  • Great potential, but basic issues

Just downloaded the app, and love the live classes and the 10 minute express classes all in one. Plus the fact that you can do cardio, strength, or yoga, all in one app is fantastic. There is two REALLY annoying things about the app though ... 1) it operates like an iPhone app on your iPad in that it is in portrait mode when you’re selecting which workout you want to do, and then switches to landscape when the video starts. The people coding the app need to try using it and see how annoying it is to have to switch the aspect. 2) there’s no description of what a workout is covering so you have to trial and error choose. There should be even a couple of words, like Sun Salutations. I hope the developers read this and address these basic issues, as the app has real potential. Right now though I probably won’t go beyond the free trial period because of these items.
