  • Workouts for Every-body

I’ve tried a few workout programs and this is only one I keep coming back to. I love variety of classes, instructors, and levels of fitness classes offered! You will find an instructor and classes you love! Only reason why I can’t give this app 5 stars, is that there are some bugs that need to be worked out. Some videos would freeze or the audio would take some time to catch up. Also, some videos would not load no matter the amount of troubleshooting. So the app needs some work, but the content is phenomenal!

  • Everything I Need!

I’ve been using the Obé app for three years and have taken just about 600 classes. I have done a lot of the different types of trainings and have loved them all. Now I primarily focus on strength training 5x a week and have learned so much, gotten stronger, and never get bored. I love that the workouts are on demand so I can take them exactly when I want to. All of the instructors are great. And I like having the options of different class lengths. Being able to do my workouts anywhere (aka while traveling) is such a benefit and keeps me in my routine. They are always adding new things to the apps - such as audio only classes or in gym classes and you can sort by type of equipment you have, or if you have none, to find classes you can do. I always recommend obe to people, you can’t beat it for the price and convenience!

  • Peter is gone. Obé is dead to me.

    See above.
  • Great Content! UX/UI needs work

This app has changed my life! The variety of workouts in terms of type, length and equipment is very approachable and helps mix up my routine and adapt my workout to what I’m feeling. However, the app UI/UX had been increasingly frustrating. -The replay classes are confusing - I really enjoy having the music aspect but my phone almost always freezes when doing them. They are also impossible to airplay without having to restart the app and then no longer being able to do them as they are considered “done”. -I am frequently logged out of the app -The class search and app in general is very slow -Not enough classes for no-equipment -Would be helpful to have levels of classes within a type of class. Ex.: having a beginner level yoga sculpt vs an advanced one. The workouts can get a bit repetitive or too easy when I could be leveling up but don’t necessarily want to do another type of workout. Or if that already exists-having a sort of label that indicates the level that’s easy to read. I will stick around and enjoy the content and trainers which have changed my outlook on working out completely. Thanks obe! 12/10- ROKU APP NO LONGER WORKS WITH IPHONE APP. Please fix I can’t watch the workouts on my tv anymore. Renders this program useless for me.

  • Won’t load

I deleted and reinstalled the app and the videos won’t load. Do I get my money back? My phone is up to date.
  • Love LOVE Obe! Only issue is with the app

I was using obe for a year and a half by casting workouts to my FireTV from my laptop. The workouts and instructors are the BEST! Love the variety and how upbeat all the instructors are. Now that casting isn’t an option, I’m using Airplay from my iPhone to the same FireTV. It’s not great. The app is so glitchy when it starts to stream and now it has finally let me pause and rewind. Up until now, if I got a call or alarm during my workout, it would end the class and I would have to start over! No option to fast forward to where I was until today for some reason. Even though that’s a feature now, it still is super glitchy. 5 starts to the quality of classes though! And can we bring back more evening classes? By the time I’m home from work, all of the live classes are over for the day 😔 I miss seeing Spencer live!

  • Love the classes, hate the app

I’ve been using Obé for a few years now. I love all the options for different classes and instructors- I can always find something that fits my needs. My only complaint is that streaming the app can be frustrating. I stream from an iPhone to Apple TV (all always updated)and can’t do any of the replay classes with audio settings (on some of them you can adjust the loudness of the music or instructor). On all of those classes the music blares so loudly that I can’t hear a word that the instructor is saying. I wish they would just get rid of that feature because it screws everything up. The response from technical support was to just do those class on my phone. So. Not super helpful. :/

  • Love the obé APP

I desperately needed something exciting and motivating to get moving on the 4 days I don’t work out at the gym and I’ve definitely exceeded my needs! I have a goal to move daily but was struggling feeling motivated to walk or run! What I love and was unexpected about obe is all the different lengths of activities- express activities have been a hit for me because I feel I can do 10 minutes of anything and it doesn’t feel daunting for the days I may need more rest but the biggest game changer for me are the dancing and Pilates classes! I looove to dance it’s one of my favorite forms of movement and was really looking for an app that had fun dance workouts!

  • Love obé but not the technical issues :(

I’ve been using obé for about 3 months now, and it pains me to leave less than 5 stars because I love the aesthetics, the new classes added daily, and the energy and effectiveness of the workouts and instructors - but the technical issues ruin a lot of the experience for me. I use the browser version on my MacBook, and the app version on my iPad. Offline mode is great for when you’re offline obviously, but it doesn’t have a way to track that you completed the workouts. My “Strive for 5”record makes me look lazy because I did a bunch of workouts offline and they “don’t count”. It’s also still annoying that the schedule workout function on the app doesn’t use details (eg. a link) when adding to your personal calendar (the web browser version does, however!). Replay classes are ironically non-replayable. Also, don’t accidentally swipe out of the workout while it’s playing, you’ll have to restart it. I will say using my laptop with browser version is the better experience, but it should be great no matter what device you’re using. I’ll keep using obé since I have the subscription, but would love for these little things to be fixed.

Update: 11 months in and the app is STILL so problematic 😩 Offline classes have audio but no visual. Classes glitch all the time. I still do love the variety, instructors, etc. but the usability is seriously disappointing.
