Thanks for your feedback. The app contains tested foods where the data has been published by credible sources. We add new foods as results become available, but appreciate this doesn't cover everything. If you find anything that's from a credible source and isn't yet in the app (or have any queries on a particular food) please let us know at fodmapaz@gmail.com. Thanks!
  • New to low FODmap eating great app

I am finishing up the introduction to LoFod and this app helps a lot. It doesn’t list everything but gives you a great starting point. Awesome when looking for ingredients for recipes and not sure what to avoid.

  • Helpful guide to food when cooking or shopping low FODMAP foods.

I find this helpful when shopping to check whether I can eat something. I need gluten free and lactose free so it’s not perfect but as far as low FODMAP goes its excellent. It is American so U.K. names are different. It would be great to find an app that tells you which brands/products are low FODMAP to make shopping even easier but this is a great free app.

  • Undecided, still looking

Revised. Thank you for the reply I see where I confused the 2. I need to play with this to provide a proper review. I updated this to remove my false rating.

How can you list broccoli as green (head, stalk & whole) & also red?
  • Nearly as good as Monash University app

It sources the same data as the Monash App. While easier to lookup foods than Monash app, it does not list which fodmap category restricted green foods fall under. (Green foods where portion sizes are not unlimited.)
  • A big thumbs up

This Ap is awesome. I’m new to FODMAP and this makes it all a little less overwhelming. The traffic light system is effective with information about the group that the food is in. The only way to make it better would to have recipes included.
  • It does what I need mostly

I like that this app tells you servings of FODMAPS. That helps me a ton. However, I wish it had more food choices and that it was easier to look up a specific item. Also some conflicting information such as searching for soy milk. One says it’s high and the other says low depending on how you searched for it. I do like having a quick reference though and it saves me from buying the $8 app.

Thanks for your feedback, it's great to hear you are finding the reference list useful. Regards soy milk, it's easy to be confused because soy products can be either low or high FODMAP depending on the ingredients. The app shows which are low FODMAP (soy milk made from soy protein) and which are high FODMAP (soy milk made from soy beans). This is a useful article on the subject: https://alittlebityummy.com/confused-about-soy-the-low-fodmap-diet/
  • No Fuss List of FODMAP foods

This is a comprehensive list of foods using traffic light method to easily identify foods that can be eaten safely (green) whilst eating the FODMAP diet. It also lists foods which pose slight risk (yellow) or high risk (red). Clicking on any food provides you with additional information such as suggested portion sizes to reduce risk, or clarification of information shown alongside a food such as wether a cheese os soy or milk cheese. Very simple to use. Another plus is that it can be accessed without being connected to WiFi or using your data allowance so can be used whilst in the supermarket without cost.

  • Needed work & developer listened

Developer improved scrolling. Upper right provides options for searching - advise using it. Hey developer, if you make the choice in upper right bolder, people will notice it more readily. Your improvement works well. Thanks.
