  • Very helpful app

At a glance, I can tell what I can and cannot have and what’s a possibility in certain amounts. The colors make it great. Red, a definite no. Green, a go. Looking up items is extremely easy.
  • Latin American & Asian Foodd

Would be nice to add more ingredients of Latin cuisine. I guess people consider it “exotic” foods fruits and veggies but it’s food I grew up with. Not really exotic it’s just below the border- Central American food 👍🏽. I also eat a lot of asian foods that are not in here yet. Still found it super helpful except I do eat more Latin foods well I try to. Still figuring out which ones I can still handle.

We aim to update the food list as new results become available, but appreciate it doesn't cover everything. If you have any queries or think a food has been tested for FODMAPs but isn't shown let us know at fodmapaz@gmail.com. Thanks!
  • Great

Great so far. I am learning this for a family member and it really helps me grocery shopping and meal planning. I was absolutely impressed when I sent in a query and got a response within 24 hrs. Try it !
  • Easy to use

Very simple to use. Most of the time they have the food I look up. Of course, expansion would be best and hopefully they work on it!
  • Great app

My doctor recommended I look into using a FODMAP diet - having trawled through goggle and looking for a book I came across a recommendation for this app. It’s so easy and even tells you when you click on the ingredient that One portion may be ok but two could be over doing it - It’s great to get you started at looking at foods that may be causing you problems

  • Thank you !

Thank you for making this app! I have given up with following a Food map diet because the charts aren’t easy to use. This is so simple yet so effective just find the food and it tells u so simply red avoid , orange limit, green good!
For once a real useful app has been created !
  • Ridiculously helpful and highly recommended

It’s super simple, clear, intuitive, and comprehensive.

I’d recommend this to anyone with an IBS diagnosis, and it really, really helped to make an at first intimidating diet change, manageable and easy for me.

One thing that would be helpful - figuring out which fruit or nuts I can eat took a little time... You can’t just search “nuts” and have all of them show up at once - it needs to have the word “nut” in the name. E.g. Brazil and peanuts show up, but cashews or macadamias do not. So yeah, categorising would really speed things up 👌🏻

Thanks for your review! Pleased to say you can browse specific categories: go to Menu (top right) -> Apply filter -> choose the food categories you want to show/hide and hit OK. There is a category "Pulses, tofu, nuts" which should do what you want. Thanks again.
  • Excellent

A quick way to look up basic foods. I particularly like the way it shows you if some foods can cause discomfort in excess. That’s very helpful.
  • So far.. mostly helpful/useful

I’m trying to find my way through the 3 phases of Elimination diet and what I can and cannot eat. There are some things that don’t come up here and I try and search google for answers. There are also things I have no idea on here what they are? Kangaroo? As in those cute things that hop around in Australia????!! Yikes why would I eat that!?! So I think it’s still a work in progress, but helpful in a pinch for shopping/cooking or in a restaurant.
