  • Ting provides peace of mind

I love the analytics and the explanatory information provided. I’ve lived in more than one home that had an electrical system hacked up by DYI work. The older the home the worse it was, ( try a 1968 build). Nice to have some insight and education, especially in an aggressive housing market where so many inspections are waived to secure a purchase…

  • Great but not.

I like the safety that this may provide but sick of the brown out notifications no now it’s off. I checked my voltage all over and at the same spot of this plug and this monitor is off by 2 volts. So after contacting someone from ting I received a automated response. At least that’s how it seems. Because if you tell them you checked at the same plug and then they ask if I checked the same circuit . Well what the heck. And then I responded with of course I did . Then I get the same question again. Never mind. Oh and apparently 2 volts off is normal. No I call that a wrong reading. Especially if I keep getting notifications saying I had a brown out.

  • Glad I Have TING

Overall experience has been a very good one. Associates are friendly and knowledgeable. They handled my concerns quickly and efficiently. Only negatives would be that on two occasions I was told I should have been called first with a concern or would be called back for follow up and was not on either occasion.
Was told I should have gotten e-mails regarding my issue and was not. Otherwise TING is great.

  • Fantastic app and service

What a find. I got this free from State Farm, my home insurance agency, and plugged it in. In addition to the fire protection, it monitors the general health of your electrical service from the department of water and power here in Los Angeles.

Turns out our service is WAY under voltage. Average is 109 volts but dips under 108 frequently. The DWP came out and verified we have a problem. They are coming back to install an additional transformer on our line. I never would have know unless I had this device installed. Makes sense why some of our digital appliances have had issues.

    Great product!!!

  • Solid useful app

App works well, the Ting monitoring system also seems to work very well. No fires so far, thank goodness, the monitor picks up power outages and alerts when power comes back on also shows surges and brownouts when they occur. App is clean and easy to navigate.
  • Safety in Your Home

The ‘Ting’ device simply plugged into a wall socket constantly monitors for any potential dangers developing in your electrical system that could potentially start a fire. They notify you if a danger shows up, identify what the problem is, and if necessary, send someone to fix the problem. It adds a strong insurance against damage from fire in your home. (It does not prevent damage, including fire, from lightning strikes.)

  • Great tool for monitoring dangerous ⚡️conditions

The ting app is easy to use and the device setup steps worked perfectly the first time. Kudos to the ting team for making setup easy. We all have IoT apps and devices that are frustrating to setup. This is not one of them. Nice app layout and full of informative content to help you understand your homes electrical systems as well as what goes on with your homes electrical systems and appliances.

  • Peace of mind and multifunctional

I have only had Ting a few weeks but it has already shown it’s value! We have been having rolling black outs in my area combined with a heat wave. I was able to closer monitor if my home had power or not, which allowed me to make real time decision of whether I would stay where I was that had power and ac or if I would return home. Super useful!

  • Wow! Impressed!

I am so impressed with this program. I thought I had a issue within my home as my lights were always dimming when I would run the dryer, dishwasher, A/C would kick on, etc. I replaced all the breakers in my panel & still had an issue. I jumped at the opportunity when I saw this was available. Before the 7 day learning mode was even completed, it alerted me immediately that I had a problem on the utility side. The Ting team held my hand and guided me on exactly what to do and kept me updated on things. My power company came out and found out I had a bad power line from the transformer to my house. After replacing, I haven’t had any issues since and the lighting in my house is brighter than it ever has been! I’m glad they saved me, my home, and my pets from a potential disaster! Thank you Ting!

  • So glad we had Ting!

We were notified of a potential hazard…after working with agent…Devon…we located a possible faulty light switch. We have replaced the switch and had a recheck…all is fine now. Without Ting sensor who knows how long it might have been before a disaster happened. We only had it a short time…but the switch was over 15 years old. Thank you Devon…thank you Ting…and thanks to State Farm for committing to help their customers.
