Kind of feels scammy and like bait and switch. You don’t get to pick your gift. They tell you what you’ll get. Right now they’re only offering me alcohol and food delivery services, neither of which work for me. I have animals so ideally I would like to pick Chewy or something of that sort. Bait and Switch
Received a unsolicited email offering $50 to download the app. When downloaded I was basically provided with coupon codes off purchases for items I would never need. Deleted app. Encourage others to avoid. Marking the unsolicited email as a phishing attempt. Hoping google stops them.Mns117
Misleading
Both options I was offered weren’t “gift cards”; they were discounts off the first order for online subscriptions, which you can usually get anyway. Furthermore, neither business was remotely local. I’m near a big city, but all they could come up with to offer was toward subscriptions for online businesses based on the other side of the country. No thanks.Perihelion_sol
Waste of time
This was more or less a con job. I was given this as an “appreciation gift” from a gig job. It wasn’t a gift at all as magically there were no offers in my area except one that would have needed me to come out of pocket $30. Don’t waste your time....CarmenDaMarketingNerd
No local business, coupon for subscriptions
Live in SF East Bay Area. Got a Nift as a “reward” but can’t use it. No local businesses are on the app, and most of the online offers are for subscriptions that I don’t want or need. Very limited categories. Thanks but I can’t use a baby food subscription when I don’t have a baby! Total waste of time!Gig Worker :(
