Reviews of Daily Strength Workout Journal

  • Pie chart

In the “body” window it shows a colored pie chart with different colors for each body part. As you log your exercises the chart shows the body parts worked by the size of the “pie slice”. Practically all my resistance training exercises are super sets between the agonist and antagonists muscle pairs-push/pull. So, all the exercises I do for that workout should be equal in % worked. However, the ratios between the muscle groups are not at all equal, ex-bench press (push) and back row (pull) are worked equally in pairs but the chart shows a huge slice for chest and a very small slice for back, when they should be equal. I can not figure out a way to correct this.

    Developer Response

Hey Ted, thank you so much for the feedback. You can add new exercises by tapping on the plus button in the top right corner of the exercise selection screen. I’m making a lot of improvements to the app including the ones that you suggested. There is no user manual at the moment, I’m working on making the app more user friendly so that a user manual is not needed.
  • THE Best Fitness App

Navigating the app is super easy, overall has a very nice and clean look and feel, and is super customizable. Plus, the workouts that have already been added to the app all have visual aids which can be very helpful. You can tell the devs have put time into this app. One of my favorite newer features is being able to see your current workout on the lock screen!
  • Almost perfect

The way I track my workouts are very meticulous and I love that in this app you can add notes and the rest of the features really do well. However, when I got to build a plan I would love if they added a not feature there as well because I work with RPE for powerlifting and my programs that I run will tell me what RPE I should be shooting for for that exercise. If they added that ability it would be 5 stars.

    Developer Response

Thanks for the suggestion! We'll definitely add the ability to set RPE when building a workout plan.
