  • The idea is great, but problem with execution

    I love the idea of this app and the features that can help both guests and employees. However, the app is not user friendly, freezes A LOT, and features are too limited. For example, the only things that can be put on the calendar are things planned by the vacation planners. I get that they want to promote the hotel tours, but you cant even put the hotel’s own shows on the calendar! It’s hard to figure out how to make a dinner reservation. It would be useful to be able to let the resort know when the room will be empty for some time so cleaning can be scheduled, since language is often a barrier with cleaners. I would love to use room service for meals, but the menu is way too limited.
  • So Slow And Lacking Function

    I’ve never experienced an app as slow as this one. And, for basic functions, like adding a reservation it doesn’t work. I have a reservation number but it won’t add it. So, I tried doing it without the reservation # and it doesn’t allow me to do it without the name of the resort, which is blank without drop down selections or an ability to type the name of a resort. Soooooo….not much I can do but look at my past reservation that just shows I checked in, a year ago. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because it user interface is clear, if only it worked.
  • App is not impressive. Nor is the pushy sales people

    Instead of enticing us to come back, this visit on day two has made us know where not to come. The pool and restaurant staff have been nice but once welcomed statue beginning…. it all went down hill from there. Beware of pushy sales people! Do not go to the Grand location…. they’re swarming and try to lure people into signing a contract for savings when you can really find the best deals yourself. The drinks are not strong and really lack quality. We prefer the Excellence Club all inclusive better. Sorry Palace, it’s a beautiful place and has lots of potential but we can’t recommend anyone to your resort. So sad to have to write this.
  • Minimally Useful

    We have been staying at Moon Palace-Sunrise for a 7 night stay. It was never possible to actually log into the app. After entering information to log in a welcome notification would appear, but then would go right back to the “sign up/login” screen. Thus, nothing could be ordered from the app (ie, minifridge, room service, maintenance, etc.) and no reservations for dinner could be made in the app. It was only useable as a “guest” to review menus and other general information, which was informative but not functional. We found it to be very frustrating in our trip. I understand that glitches and bugs occur, but this app was mostly useless to us.
  • It’s not the app you got to worry about

    It had many glitches, but it worked a lot of the times the map helped. The apps not the real problem it is the resort I’m not talking about the people that are working there. I’m talking about the people that are running it, It is a complet lie. I don’t know about other people, but I was sold on a complete lie a room with a view of the beach in the ocean and all these amenities but you get there and if you’re not part of their community and you’re not a diamond member, you can’t even go to one side of the pool that is mostly empty, because on the wrong side of the tracks I guess. It’s a joke is supposed to be exclusive it wasn’t exclusive sure you got room service, but it was cold. Most of the time,the food was good if you’re a wasted drunk. But the desserts were amazing but thy weren’t even made their. Shoot save your money and go get yourself a nice room for a quarter of the price and go out to dinner somewhere in town and have 1000 times better food. There food says authentic food but I have an a Mexican auntie and this was not all that.. I went there for a David & Tim show oh that was wonderful and amazing but the resort lied to us time after time after time they got my room wrong. They had to move us two day into our trip. Do not book a excursion through this place they lie believe me or don’t you’ll find out. If you don’t everything in writing, it will be a lie.
  • Missing key features

    The app does not let you set the resort you are at so everytime you load a screen you have to select the resort you are at. Also there is no way to load the interactive map. I found that I have to go through a restaurant to find it.

  • The Grand Moon at The Palace

    The absolute best place to vacation. Everything is well planned, the service is second to none. Beautiful white sand beaches surround the area. No matter the time, it’s never over populated. You will never go hungry and every choice is top notch delicious. We have eaten at every restaurant, including the cafe, and personally have not eaten a single thing we didn’t like. (This includes The Nizuc and Sunrise teppanyaki. We have been in the past and will continue to visit The Moon Grand almost exclusively. The staff are extremely helpful and very, very kind. Overall, heaven on earth!
  • Still room for improvements

    The app need to have the option to see orders that has been placed and orders that has been completed….. I ordered the aromatherapy for the room twice but not sure if the order has been completed …. Whereas I ordered the sodas refill for the fridge and I get notifications that it was delivered….
  • Can’t load or sign in

    I had difficulty merging my new member information. So I called the 1800 number for assistance and their advice was to sign out and back in and how I can’t get back in. I tried deleting and re downloading it 5 times per their suggestion still not working. It acts like I am logged in and then sends me through the login process on repeat. When the app was up and working the charges had wrong dates and vague descriptions making it useless. Posted menus were wrong. Posted times for meals at our resort restaurant were also wrong.
  • Palace Resorts App

    It has a lot of glitches where it just spins. You can make a reservation but you can’t confirm after you make it. You are not able to pay on app. Resorts credit need to show earned and available on same tab you currently have to click on each tab and to find balance.
