  • SO SLOW

    This app is so slow that it makes it almost h useable. It’s absolutely maddening. Plus, you can’t do things like make reservations for restaurants on the app or bring up your chat history (at least, we couldn’t figure out how to do those things). Sometimes, the app will tell us how long it takes to get room service, but not always. You can’t request that your room be cleaned very easily. It also crashes randomly. We’ve had to make it work during our time at the resort, but it’s a pretty bad app. We stayed here 8 months ago, and the app has gotten worse since then.
  • Doesn’t work

    I really wish I could like the app but I can’t. We are staying at the resort in Jamaica and it is always buffering on anything I click. It’s supposed to show what tours we have booked and we can’t see anything. I thought it would be nice seeing what we are currently being billed for but we can only see a total not things itemized. I also wish there was a request for housekeeping. Our room was at the end of the hall. By 10am we left our room but housekeeping starts early and they start at the end so we could never get it unless we left super early. To many glitches it needs to be updated. Also I wish it would tell you what your status is with your wrist band. We are guests of someone and we had no clue and neither did some of the workers what our wristbands meant and if we had access to certain areas. Also a suggestion with the map make it bigger. Very hard to see. It was just frustrating because the resort relies on the app.
  • Buggy and slow app

    App is super slow. It takes about 2 mins for every page/screen to load which is super frustrating. Trying to contact technical support or submitting feedback results in “Service Error” and feedback wont go through.

    Registration was a hassle and took about 30mins to work after the front desk intervened.

    As there is no alternative you are forced to use this app. I wish Moon Palace management spent more money to make this usable and fast
  • Needs more work on the upgrade

    After the upgraded app our spa credits would. It show.
    It also would not show or spa reservations or tours.
    When it was time to check out we could not use our universal credits. The from desk and sales office could not figure out the problem.
    The old app worked fine in November.
  • Resort is great. App is painful

    Every time we attempt to use the app we are greeted with initially wrong information, then a spinning wait notification that may or may not eventually go away. If it does go away, most often the info is good. But sometimes it’s still not.

    Attempting to search for something sometimes takes you to a different page after typing the first letter. Many times things that we know exist (e.g. the Pub at Nixuc) can’t be found.

    The resort (Sunrise in Cancun) was pretty great. The app was by far the most painful things about it.
  • Love the vacations -hate the app

    Absolutely love staying at the Palace Resorts. But I hate the app Our last stay in January it only worked about 30% of the time. Half the time we didn’t know if things went through or not and almost every night the app would crash and we had to reboot everything. They really need to get this figured out.I loaded it on both my iPad and my iPhone and it would not work on either.

    However, I will say our concierge people helped us a lot and we just worked with them instead of using the app. They seemed as frustrated by the app as we did.
  • App has promise but profiles are glitchy

    When you setup a profile associated with your reservation number, you can have people in your party create their own profiles / logins. Problem is that we keep getting errors saying that a particular email or phone number is already in use… which is definitely not the case since this is our first time visiting.
  • Pathetic app keeps crashing

    The restaurant reservation system in the app is pathetic They told me to try to login at 10 am to make reservation for 2 days ahead and I tried exactly at 10 am but it shows no reservation available for next 5 days including today. The app keeps crashing. It keeps clocking when you open the app after it crashes. The feedback system within the app also errors out and you can’t provide them the feedback and that’s why I am here writing a review. Horrible app!!!
  • Lousy App

    My family and I all downloaded the app individually. The app couldn’t differentiate who was who and would ask the individual logged on which person they were but would pull someone else’s name up from our group. The information on the entertainment was different on our groups app ( one said 2100 hours another’s said 1800). We missed shows because of this. After entering info on the calendar for a weeks activity, the app disappeared. We went to public relations and was told to delete the app then re-download it. All the info disappeared! Give us back paper schedules!! The app is clumsy and not well designed.
  • Version 2.0 is a no-go, do not upgrade

    Version 2.0 was just released on Dec 5, 2021 is extremely buggy. The new GUI seems better, but it misses many of the good parts of older version. The database connection takes almost a day to get all of your information but at the end you won’t have access to your spa or restaurant reservations. It is unclear where you can even access your reservation anyway. Change your auto download/install setting to prevent automatic download.
