So so good
I am very impressed with this camera, I switched out my ring and it’s so much better than the ring I love it. The price was amazing and the clarity awesome, I am selling my ring cameras and I bought two more of these to replace the other ring cameras.jgesmond59
Great product, could use a little tweaking
Doesn't always unlock when I arrive in the area. Location always on. Could use a bit more torque as if your deadbolt isn't perfect it stall out when it really would only take a few more pounds of torque to scrape it by. I've had to re-center my bolt which made my door handle stick. If you're considering this definitely get it. I love it. Just constructive feedbackShow lessTomDonS
Works, but not very forgiving
Shipping experience good. I broke the first one while installing but uncertain how. Replaced without hassle. My second attempt at install required assistance which was give well and I even received a follow up call to make sure it went well. Latch and deadbolt were aligned so that the deadbolt was very tight to go in. this causes a the mechanism difficulty and reprogramming. It has been somewhat problematic. The unit seems to work well with the keypad and fingerprint recognition. One other problem is that the unit is too wide to fit on a door with a standard window. I was able to open the door remotely to allow entrance to the home while we were on vacation.Show lessCharlie 619
Good for the price but…
The locks don’t know when the door is open and move the dead bolt anyway. The auto open rarely works. The finger print sensor is poor at best. All in all my August locks were a lot better but a lot more expensive. These are good budget locks but I’d rather pay more for better operation.allthemsnescantbetaken
Impression
Your cameras are not quality tested enough. They have a cheap feel to them. Sometime it records and sometimes it misses. I have had several important events that were not recorded. Like a vehicle window being smashed and no recording of the event.
General feel is the recording mechanism is not robust enough. Too slow to capture. Also on the ex pro the follow ai does not follow fast enough. So an upgrade on the left and right mechanism is required. It should be a silent motor as well. Up and down should be faster motors as well as left and right.
Should also have multiple cameras… a 10x zoom camera and a wide camera on the ex pro II.
Sound should be upgraded and I had a camera fail from weather, too much rain on it. Make sure it’s tested for Canadian weather, rain, snow and. Wind. Very important.
Provide a SD card or transfer to local storage device in the home to get better recording accuracy rather than cloud.
Also, add Ethernet port.

Should be more configurable
Great product! I love these locks, but it locks when the door is open very often. If you don’t notice and try to shut the door with the deadbolt out well… you get it… I wish there was an easy way to turn off auto lock during certain scenarios. there should also be a way to share passcodes and thumb prints with multiple keypads. It’s a pain entering them into each keypad. I have 3 doors and it’s annoying to enter all my passcodes and thumb prints for each keypad.Show lessgregtech
does what it’s suppose to at times
overall i’m keeping it. however it’s not always doing what it’s suppose to. when my hands are full and im not actively in my phone the auto unlock doesn’t unlock. i have to pull my phone out, unlock it and maybe then it’ll start to realize im near and unlock. a time or two i has to hit the unlock button. it’s also annoying having to have the app open in the background. im always killing apps and have to remember to not kill this one in order for the auto unlock feature to work properly. other than that it’s a solid buy. the app is nice, simple, and updated on a regular.Show lessianto1985
Works perfectly for our needs!
Put this to the test the other day - we went to a memorial service out of town but our son’s friend had left his backpack at our place and needed it for school, so he let us know when he got here, we unlocked the door for him remotely, and he picked up his backpack and even locked the door behind himself without prompting!
This works well and consistently so far. We’ve got the keypad and lock combo and like it.Show lesslustishiro
Worst!
Do not buy this camera, I am using IOS the recent updates in apps to view and record the events that happened whenever I am reviewing the history the apps is hanging aside from the button to save the recorded events is GONE!, following the instructions on how to record the captured events it make more complicated and you cannot view the events, the only way for you to save the recorded events os to PULL OUT the SDCard insert into Mac 🖥️ or PC which is very inconvenient,, very disappointing not like my EZVIZ camera and apps which is easy user friendly.Show lessiMhak
Nice features but bugs in Auto Unlock and Alarm
Like the lock but Auto Unlock has happened automatically and unexpectedly multiple times so had to disable the feature. Also this week’s update causes alarm to sound when being opened from inside despite feature being disabledDaveN17
