  • Constantly malfunctioning, unreliable customer service

    The app has, for months now, not calculated delivery fees for bookings. You either have to log into the website or call customer service. If you’re able to actually get a hold of someone they will likely not be able to fix the issue themselves and will need to “follow up” which means you’re problem won’t be fixed and they won’t be getting back to you.
    We had 13, 5 Stars, reviews removed from our listing when we snoozed for a few weeks. When we went back active the reviews were gone. Called custom service about the issue and they acknowledged it wasn’t correct and should be fixed. Weeks later, no “follow up” and the reviews are still missing.
    Great busy concept. TERRIBLE app.

  • App Provlems

    Anyone else having issues with signing in on the app? I’m a returning Outdoorsy Host and was looking forward to another great season, however for some reason I am unable to sign in, with either of my emails. Also I can’t even request a password change as I’m “Not authorized to make that request (401)” ??? Looked around everywhere I can with no answers!

  • They do great with renting our RVs. If you host to rent an RV it’s a nightmare.

    I’d be careful when using Outdoorsy to host. My experience was terrible. Rented out my new RV and it was completely trashed on the first rental. Lucky to get a reimbursement for any damages. If you do, expect a fraction or a fraction of any cost of repair. With that, if you’re here to rent an RV. From my experience, they really catered to the renter and took care of them. This site gets the job done as a renter. Not a host.

  • BEWARE!!!!

    Don’t waste your time and hard earned possession on this app, just download RVshare.

    I would have NEVER use this as an owner if I knew how shady this company runs. The outdoorsy group doesn’t stand by their own policy’s. They bend them and make them fit whatever agenda they want at that time.

    I rented my travel trailer out and the renters broke plumbing parts and the toilet, I submitted a claim like the agent told me to do with all the pictures and contract. The renters disputed the claim, outdoorsy called me once and didn’t leave a voicemail to “get my side of the story”. Then closed the case stating “they did their due diligence.”
    I got in touch with them on the 28th day of their 30day dispute policy because they charged my account for full refund to the renters. And closed the case refusing to reopen it even though the policy clearly states there is a 30day hold.

    IMO it’s an easy app as a customer to get a free rental and get over on owners, they take you at your word nothing else required.

  • Great app for renting out your Rig, extra income!

    Love the platform, it helps to make things easier on renting our your rig and generating an additional income.
  • Great, but could use an improvement

    Overall, I’m very satisfied with Outdoorsy Pro. It’s easy to use and the best part has been the Outdoorsy customer service reps.

    They are easy to contact and very communicative. After dealing with a difficult renter who threatened to file a claim (which is fine, I had the facts/ details in writing, time stamped to counter the claim as well as photos citing their failures) the Outdoorsy rep was very empathetic and mediated on my behalf.

    Con: As an owner, I cannot set the specific times for pickups and returns. The default times are set at 11am and 3pm. I work full time Monday through Friday and not only detail this in my listing, but reiterate it multiple times as some renters gloss over this.

  • Great platform! Just needs to work out some bugs

    Great platform and great customer service! And internal issues I come across a representative is able to resolve the problem. Some bugs need to be worked out in the system (driver verification approval confirmation, distance cost calculations in quotes etc) but overall it is a great experience!
  • Great company to work with.

    Renting our camper makes it much more affordable to own one, Outdoorsy makes that happen. The app and website are designed well and work great.
    Any issue I or my renters have had are solved promptly with a short call to Outdoorsy where a real, helpful person answers the phone and takes care of it!!
  • Worst Rv rental platform

    Worst Rv rental platform, ridiculous terms and conditions, spy your conversations and give unreasonable warning.
  • Forget about disputing reviews.

    An individual rented my RV and failed to dump the tanks (photos showed otherwise), didn’t use any more of the mattress or pillow protectors provided (gross right) and was an hour late at drop off. I only charged home to dump one tank. Again photos were submitted and then I’m hit with a bad rating because I charged a dump fee that was known prior. Outdoorsy’s response. “We don’t allow disputes of reviews that hurt your future bookings.” What a joke.
