DO NOT GET SCAMMED!
This is my first time writing a review and I had to do it because unlike the reviews here, it is not a legitimate service. It’s unreliable, inconsistent, inattentive.
I booked a cleaning service 5 days prior to the service date and they didn’t assign me a cleaner until I sent an email to cancel the service the day before the appointment. And the person called out sick 15 minutes before the appointed time.
I asked her if she can work with the company to assign someone asap since we had to leave the apartment to catch a flight. No one came and it created a huge inconvenience for us.
It’s not trustworthy at all! I sent an email to diem explaining how horrible my experience was and tell them they should have a system for cases like this so they don’t mess up their customers’ schedule or experience. No comment.

I should have known when the app kept on giving me errors on the payment step (I ended up paying on the website).

Cleaning Service Review
Used Diem for the first time after seeing an ad for the app. The functionality of the app was fine and got a Diemer assigned in a reasonable amount of time.
The service I received was sub-par all around as the cleaning itself could be described as average at best. The app indicates that basic supplies and cleaning equipment would be provided by the contractor, which wasn’t the case. Although accidental, there was damage done to during the clean.
Customer service was responsive when contacted, but wasn’t much help in providing any guidance in leaving a review or remediating the issues I had.
Not one to leave negative reviews often, and just speaking on my first and only experience, but would not use again personally.

Service has been 5 star. App has a few minor bugs
First off I’ve used the service once (today) and that was great. Very friendly prompt and fast. Extremely happy.
App wise it seems pretty good but I did run into a few bugs setting up my first service. I filled out my request for service and once I picked my time gave instructions only then did it say I need to setup an account (sure, I was expecting to happen) I picked the use my iPhone account and did the verification text…. And then it took me back to the homepage. My request was lost. Ok. Not the end of the world I filled everything out again and then it told me I had to setup more of the account setup (I want to say cc setup but that was later) anyway when I was done with this second part it again sent me to the homepage. I filled out the request for a third time and now it asked me to setup CC payment. I filled out my card details clicked save and… it returned me to the page where I had to add a card…. Annoyed I tried adding the card again and it did the same thing. At this point I’m giving up so I hit the back button and then magically my card shows up to select. After that I was able to submit my request and everything went fine.
So ya some buggy initial setup but workable. I plan to use this again as the service was excellent!

Quick and Easy
I had been looking for someone to clean up my apartment thru FB marketplace and Craiglist. I had to text so many people, and their prices were very outrageous. I was very frustrated. I decided to give Diem a try. I was able to tell the app what day and time I needed someone to come; and the app did the rest. Within 30 min I was matched with someone, and I knew how much it was going to be beforehand. The helper came on time, was professional and quiet. I was even able to pay through the app. I would use the app again and will recommend to friends/family. 👍🏽

Needs Management Behind App
The app itself worked quite well. I was hiring movers quickly and they did find movers for me within a few hours. However, not ever having used the app before, I was nervous about how it worked and if I would find someone in time (I was in a crunch), so I actually found someone outside the app. When they found movers for me, I cancelled immediately, and it asked for my reasons why, etc. I thought it was all good, but then the mover that I cancelled called me the next day to talk about logistics…I told him I had cancelled, but unfortunately Diem never 1) sent me any confirmation of the cancellation (the only thing different about the request in the app after canceling was that the details of my request were no longer viewable), and 2) nobody ever told him! So I called the support and left a message about all this. Then the next morning, Diem contacted me saying that the mover said I cancelled, and they wanted to know the reason…which I already gave in the app AND in a phone message to customer support. Apps that have no management behind the actions do not make for effective apps.

HORRIBLE
Do not waste your time or money.
I hired a cleaner to do a deep clean of my house before pictures were being taken, as I was putting my house on the market. I met her at the house then left and came back after she had left. It was in no way shape or form a deep clean. She wiped my walls with something pink and it stained my walls. I had to paint my walls to fix it. I sent a dispute, took pictures of everything. I received an automated response and someone is now texting me about it. They charged my card anyways. I have asked multiple times for a phone number to talk to someone. The only thing I’ve gotten is text messages saying that they diemer didn’t clean my walls. Even though before I left, I watched her wipe my walls with a pink cloth/duster.
I am beyond frustrated with this company and I should’ve stuck with my gut and never let that lady in my home alone. Do not use this app, go with a different company even if it’s a bit more money. I promise you, it’s worth it.

No show app service
Beware if you're in Canada. I booked two services in advance. The cleaner didn't show up despite the guaranteed appointment and I had to cancel the moving services since there was no one picking the job.
All those services “completed near me” seems like a pre-generated data. Not worth the headache.

Great cleaning services!
Hired this company for a cleanup of an apartment before a move out. Cannot ask for better service and timing. Pricing was excellent and the people were amazing!
Finally! A service that WORKS!
After spending weeks to find someone reliable to cut our grass, we decided to try DIEM. Let me say we used 2 other apps and made a lot of unreturned phone calls to other companies in which no one ever showed. I downloaded DIEM around 12 pm, requested service that day and within an hour someone was scheduled and they showed up at our selected time of 3 pm. The guy actually SHOWED UP and HE DID a great job! I was becoming discouraged about apps like these and 3rd party outsourcing but DIEM has giving me hope. Thank you!

I’m impressed with the ease of the App and the service provided. I needed a deep cleaning of my daughter’s apartment at the last minute. I booked the night before and they came out the following day and did an awesome job! I would use again 🤗
