  • Overpriced, not much info

Sure, you get two hormone levels out of this overpriced egg. But then nowhere does it say what “normal” hormone levels should look like, so you can’t compare your levels with anything meaningful, except for your oversimplified fertility score. Also, in the chart view, they use the same colors for your hormone levels and the phases to your cycle. The same blues and greys. Anyone who has taken a basic graphic design class can tell you to use a different color for everything in a chart. I had a really hard time figuring out what I should look at, and what color corresponded to what measurement. Finally, when you’re using the app, even after you bought stuff from them, they’re constantly trying to sell you more stuff with little pop ups in the app. Cool it!! I bought your stupid $200 egg! What more do you want??

Hi there! We are sorry about your experience and it is not what Mira wants you to have! We completely understand how frustrating it can be. Please trust that it is our goal to help women to go through their fertility journey smoother and easier, so we are here to help and improve your experience. We are trying our best to improve our products and service now. 1. Our E3G level fluctuates from woman to woman and cycles to cycle. Generally, it will be around 10-100 during the follicular phase and rise to 100-640+ when close to ovulation. Because of the self-regulating effect of estrogen, the rise of E3G when close to ovulation is fluctuating. The Estrogen surge is normally 1-3 days earlier than the LH one. Meanwhile, the Estrogen peak is normally 0-2 days earlier than the LH one. After the ovulation, the E3G level will drop, and then there will be another surge in the luteal phase, which means your body is entering the non-fertile period. Our hormone fluctuates from woman to woman and cycles to cycles. The pattern of the curve is more important than the absolute value. When ovulation happens, you should see a sudden increase in LH concentrations, although the peak value can vary greatly. To clarify, even if the LH levels are “low” but there is an a sizable increase of the LH level, one can still be ovulating. Generally, when there is no ovulation, it's normal for the LH to fluctuate between 0-10. 2. The period is red, the non-fertile window is gray, and the fertile period is blue, which is the same as the LH. When the LH reaches its peak and exceeds the baseline, the APP will mark it as the ovulation day, so the fertile window and the LH curve are designed to be the same color. 3. We will make feedbacks about the prompt of articles and the ads and try our best to make more improvements in the future. Please feel free to send us (support@miracare.com) an email if you have any problems. :)
  • Great app!

I have found the Mira app easy to use along with the device. Hormone levels are presented in a clear and understandable format, and the app automatically charts these levels which makes cycle mapping a breeze. If there is one suggestion I would have, it would be that Mira could add more examples of charts that typify hormone imbalances so that those of us with PCOS could see how our own patterns compare. It’s generally really hard for women with PCOS to find good information about how their hormone levels are “acting up.” Aside from this, I am really enjoying using the app, and the ability to test my own hormone levels has been very empowering.

  • Helped me see if I’m able to ovulate

    Really accurate, best purchase ever!
  • Stop Selling Me on Pdg!!

I got Mira one cycle before they released the Pdg wands - and I like the new app update but I HATE the new push to buy buy buy. I just got a bunch of the old wands and, honestly, I don’t feel I need to have that additional test for where I am at in my TTC process for the cost. For the first time today my wand failed, no issues last month, and I have to wonder if it’s in an effort to get me to buy the other wand type. Women should be able to choose whichever wands fit their purpose without feeling like they spent all this money on this little product that only works half the time because they didn’t buy more. I get it’s a business, but you should make everyone feel included and excited for what they did choose to spend money on with your company. I was so excited to start using this product last month and now I am starting to regret my purchase over others since this last update.

  • So frustrating

I feel like I’m reaching out to customer support every day. I get faulty error messages, my readings won’t sync between my app and my analyzer, and recently I received a new message saying my readings were outside of the analyzers’s confidence interval. Overall this is causing more stress as opposed to reducing it so I can conceive. Very disappointed especially due to how expensive everything is.

  • Love the Info

I have struggled with my cycle for years, and my husband and I have walked through infertility for our 12 years of marriage. We have not been able to get pregnant using this device (or infertility treatments to be fair), but the hormone information from month to month is very helpful. I am super excited to try the new wands too!

  • Great product and quick service but app is eh…

The product itself is great, I love being able to track my levels. The algorithm to tell us when to test is a bit off. I go by my own judgment. For instance, last month it said I already ovulated and to stop testing but I decided to continue testing because the surge wasn’t as high as it normally was. Then two days later I saw the typical surge levels hit. Also, once pregnant, there’s no tracking for the pregnancy. You have to find a new app. Your cycle day count doesn’t stop either and keeps asking if you’ve started your period. What’s the purpose of marking that you’re pregnant then?

  • My new glimpse of hope

I recently purchased my Mira device and was a little intimidated at first. I wasn’t sure if using it mid cycle was worth wasting my expensive test wands, but thankfully the app tells you when to test rather than trying to remember myself. It is a bit disappointing the chart does not show BBT trend amongst everything else, but in a way it’s good since it allows me not to stress over numbers that maybe be influenced by external factors. I’m very hopefully this device and app will be the answer to my prayers.

  • Supportive App while TTC!

Bought the Mira to assist with TTC since I have PCOS, and it’s been so interesting seeing my body’s hormones fluctuate every day. The app is pretty intuitive, but I hope they allow other monitoring pieces like BBT to show on the chart so I have everything in one place. Right now I toggle between multiple apps which can be quite cumbersome at times. Other than that, I really like the design and what it provides!

  • Only used 5-6 times and froze

There’s no information on the website not user friendly really had no idea how to use device figured it out by the end of testing the first week. Charged and put away take back out 3 weeks later and test twice and it froze. Not happy put away took back out next day and it was dead. Charged and it worked again. Just wish there was instructions and walk through support for such an expensive product I was using Flo and loved how everyday it going over what to do and look for this is just a device no app development was done around the product.
