Room for Improvement
So I actually like the app and the real numerical data I get. It’ll be even more perfect when they release the progesterone wands.
The rating of three is for the app itself. There is room for improvement, but once done I think it’ll be great.
I feel it needs a table view for your data. That way we can look at the trend in a concise way. On the current graph view there are stat points but it’s very difficult to get them to show the value when you click. I have to press the dot like ten times to get it to show. In addition the graph view would be great if you could have an option to show all data points at once.
Mira I think you should have developers use the app in real life so they notice these little things that will make it better for the user. Or get super users to give you feedback.
Also the pricing! Women who want to use this for family planning or infertility means we probably are gonna be using this for a long time. Please, please consider more affordable pricing for the wands. I have PCOS so the app has trouble calculating my cycle. It prompts me to check for like two straight or MORE! In order to not miss my LH surge I test in the afternoon too. So that two wands a day.

Click the icon in the upper right corner on the curve page. 2. Let it be the landscape mode. 3. Click the icon in the upper right corner on the landscape screen. In general, if your hormone level exceeds the baseline, there will be a reminder to test again after 6 hours. If there is no obvious LH surge, it's recommended to ignore the reminder. The premise of this device is great, and the hormone values themselves help with understanding my cycle. The issue is, the analyzer will repeatedly disconnect from my phone and not sync the data. I have contacted support repeatedly and each time get the same generic instructions, including to reset the analyzer. Even following all the steps they outline to check the connection, this sometimes works and sometimes does not. One day it will work perfectly, and the next the analyzer and my phone will not talk. It also likes to shut itself off and refuse to work when it still has 20% battery power, and I have also had instances where I’ve had to waste expensive wands because it throws error codes, or I get readings that make absolutely no sense (like my estrogen going from 150+ to less than 10 then back up to 150+ next wand). For an expensive device and expensive wands to use the device, they need to do better. I will add that I have an iPhone 12 mini, so my phone is not the problem with the synchronization.
EDIT AFTER RESPONSE: As I’ve explained in multiple support tickets. There are no other Bluetooth devices in the area. The analyzer screen is on. I have my phone sitting literally right next to it. But one day the analyzer works, and the next it does not. It’s not invalid readings showing up, it’s simply saying “analyzer disconnected” no matter what I do, and it’s at random.Show lessSarah, G

Please kindly notice that, in rare cases, there may be several factors that are affecting the way the Bluetooth is syncing: · The Analyzer screen is not on while pairing. · Too many Bluetooth devices around can compete for the signal. · Sometimes the Bluetooth signal varies with direction and distance. If the mobile phone is too far away from the analyzer, disconnection might be caused. When an error or invalid reading shows up, this situation may be caused by chromatography failure, the problem is usually with the test wands but not the analyzer. Errors may occur due to the following reasons: 1. There is a problem with that specific test wand. 2. The test wasn't performed correctly. It is usually due to the urine sample didn't flow through the test wand correctly. Most of the time, it flows through too fast, resulting in an insufficient chemical reaction. The Mira system is easy to use and I love it gives you the exact values. I will say, I’ve seen some inconsistent based upon what sample I use but I assume that’s because it’s time of day and how concentrated the sample is. But I love the app and the fertility score. Needs improvement
The charts aren’t easy to understand. I mean I can see the change in the chart, but where’s the explanation for what it all means? I contacted customer service and they say they will get back to me with an analysis, but I just don’t know why it isn’t part of the app. At this point it seems no different to me than the traditional ovulation strips. Easy to use!
I would love more options like being able to see your bbt in graph form along with hormone levels. It’s a user friendly app and the Mira system is by far the best I have tried yet. I have used Ava and Premom along with a few others I would stick to Mira if I had to choose only one and money wasn’t a factor for wands. 👌😊Show lessTheFamExpert
What I’ve needed for years.
My Mira is my peace of mind. It’s been such a long, heartbreaking road to having another baby. I’m starting to have confidence and hope again because I am getting a really good handle on my cycle for once.MelBelleW
Great product
The Mira device is a great product for trying to track your ovulation. I have tried multiple different devices and this is the only one that actually works. I do suffer from pcos and this has helped me understand my body more. The only thing I would say as a negative is how long it takes to get your replacement wands and the price vs quantity for them. Low tech for the price
For the cost of the replacement wands (~$2 or more per wand), I would expect a “smarter” app. I use this in combination with the clear blue ovulation test and would say this isn’t worth the money.
It does not connect to any of the other period / pregnancy related apps (eg Apple health, Flo) that I use. Additionally, when I did become pregnant, there was not way to have the app change to “pregnant” and so every day I had to retell the app I was pregnant.Show lessAMOL1226
Love It, Would Love Add’l Hormones
I love the app, I love the analyzer. The graphing and the actual numerical data provide me with a lot of comfort. As an RN, I really rely on the numbers for trends and understanding.
I only wish it could also do additional hormones like PdG and hCG. I have another product that does E3G, LH and PdG, but I don’t care for their analyzer, their maximum range value capabilities seem low and their app does not provide data read outs. Love it!
I’ve used Mira to conceive two pregnancies and love it! It’s easy to use, and I like being able to track my LH level and see my fertile window. I ovulate later in my cycle which I never would have known before using Mira! So happy to be able to stay out of infertility!MeeshNP
