  • Love Domestika but not the app

I like the courses but the app has been glitchy. Getting videos to pause and play is difficult. Some videos don’t have subtitles. Resolution is low despite selecting to change to a higher res. Much easier to view the courses via the website than the app. They’ve got some work to do fixing this.
  • Great Courses

I’ve taken 3 courses now & they’ve been very helpful in sparking my creativity & giving me additional skills in which to express myself artistically. They’re enjoyable, easy to follow, affordable & without pressure as you can go at your own pace. I highly recommend.
  • Yay for an app!

So excited y’all have an app for this now, after the hassle of using my phone browser for months. Big suggestion: please create an update to search for courses within the “My Courses” section. I find myself having to search the course title I’m working on from scratch in the main search bar every time I open the app. Also would love to see the “My Courses” section of the app organized the way it is in the browser with categories for Started/Not Started & Finished. Thank you!

  • Great courses

Stop creating excuses to not improve yourself. You don’t need a car, to break the bank or to get a loan to study, you just need a computer and to invest in yourself. Domestika is a great start for you to be familiar with online education: you don’t need $1000 to enroll or infinite time, you just need $50 to buy at least 3 courses and 30 minutes per day.

    It will be worth it!

  • Fantastic customer service

I was having a little trouble, and the customer service helped me quickly, efficiently, and in such a pleasant manner! Also, the instructions are clear, and well delivered, and in conveniently times portions!
  • Love this APP

I think the courses are a lot more involved than what you would find in Skillshare. I just wish they would incorporate a filter for languages as it’s easier for me to follow along in English and a lot of their catalog is natively Spanish but you can still find great stuff in both.
  • It’s a great app but missing airplay

I love the interface but I notice that the app on mobile does not have an airplay feature. When I do manage to stream it on my tv the video orientation is locked vertically on the screen and doesn’t allow me to view the videos in horizontal mode to be best viewed on tv.
  • Great Classes, App Navigation Lacks a Little

The classes are phenomenal and the app interface itself all work great. Navigation can be a little wonky, and the video player doesn’t seem to respond all that well. Sometimes hitting the play button or the back/forward 10 seconds doesn’t respond. All in all, a good experience with minor flaws.
  • Domestika > Skillshare

I’ve had both Skillshare and Domestika and can say without a doubt Domestika puts out the highest quality creative courses. The content is incredibly useful. The prices are incredibly affordable.

The app functions just as well as the website. I love that you can download the classes as well. Nothing but good things to say really!

  • Great on the iPad

This is easy to navigate, and courses are easy to follow. The instructors are interesting and there are a variety of styles/courses to choose from.

My only true challenge is keeping up with the images as I have to read the English subtitles, which makes it hard to keep up with the visuals in the videos. Since the app makes it easy to rewind a section, this is only an inconvenience, not a problem.
