Works great with Solar
Purchased hardware and downloaded this app to monitor 3 solar panels I installed on my home. Found for solar to monitor properly the current donut needs to point towards breaker similar to main current donuts. I can see now my solar production vs power from utility. I used a hair dryer to go around house and identify all circuits since my panel was very poorly labeled. Very cool and it’s helping me figure out where my power it going!

Works really well, just kind of ugly
Great value, gives me great data, but it’s not pleasant to look at and I’d like iOS widgets. So close to being a 5 star product.
bad product, do not use
awful product. awful app. horrible user interface and not even slightly intuitive. and as if that wasn’t enough, the SCE rebate for the energy monitor failed to go through multiple times so it turns out to be an even MORE expensive useless piece of plastic

This app used to work pretty well. Now it doesn’t stay current in graph view. On second view, it doesn’t display the circuits in my breaker box. Sometimes not even in minute view.
Privacy concerns
The Emporia Vue Gen 2 looked like exactly what I wanted - monitoring for multiple electrical circuits.
HOWEVER, between the fact that this device requires an internet connection AND Emporia’s privacy policy spells out that they will use your data in whatever way they like, as long as it’s not illegal - I cannot recommend this product, and will not be using it myself.

Great product V2 works with my solar
The original Emporia Vue I ordered was showing that my solar panels were creating power at night. Marty in tech support sent me the new Vue V2 this fixed the problem the device is now accurately showing my solar generation and power consumption. For the price the Emporia Vue is a superb product with great technical support I would definitely recommend emporia products.

Data Graph is JUNK
When you go into the graphs there are options to choose from ie: seconds, minutes, hours, days etc. However the time spacing is stupid. If I want to look at hours, I want to see every hour and not a 7 hour chunk. Same goes for days, I want to see 1 day not 6 days in one chunk. Who ever was in the design of this clearly doesn’t understand. PLEASE FIX!

Excellent product
Excellent product and at a reasonable price! The only missing feature is to show Amps per phase for the Mains. Currently shows only the sum.
Please add that feature it would be really useful to balance phases specifically when using a power generator. I hope this will be available soon and it will become a perfect product!

Good start! Missing some key features
I like the clean interface and the basic real-time analysis. What I would really like, though, would be a way to access my own data via an external program. Something like an API would be great.

Easy to install, very responsive (you see exactly consommation going up or down as soon as you switch on/off something).
I really recommend if you want to know exactly how much some breakers consume.
I bought 2 of theses to manage many breakers! Waiting to be able to merge them.
